There was a lot of discussion about this case, and it still boils down to the fact that even though his tactics may be considered not of the highest quality, they are still legal.
deathcomesrippin wrote:I would like to point out that any further cases brought before us about this exact topic will be considered spurious reports, as the games he is playing are not breaking any rules. Since there are reports about GLG's playing tactics on weekly basis its obviously wast majority of the players dont agree with you. Ofcourse you can ignore them but that will eventually bring only bad things to the game.

Not suggestions but Bugs... obviously there are bugs in some combinations of maps, settings and rules.
One question. Is it legal to use bugs in the game for points increase?

Not a bug either.

How do you know what those that haven't said anything think?

If its not a bug then how did GLG manage to achieve 196 wins out of 198 games and to earn average ~5 points per game? Looking at the percentages he is more efficient then most of industrial machines(they do few percents mistake) or some irregularities are involved.

Without giving them any lessons or advice on the map during game play. Is seems a gross abuse of the game. As personally it seem deceptive to start and invite to games in that way.
Its definately unsporting/dishonest. Which I feel should be considered a gross abuse of the game as its a gross abuse of players.

you have forgot to add to this that after glg beats them and they show they do not understand the map and will join the game because it is seen as a special thing getting invited to a game from the top player on site and most will do it once.. glg gets lanlards to invite them to a team doubles game these games are made the same private glg and lanlards on 1 side while there opponants are 2 players they have invited to the game, these 2 players have never played with each other or team games before... now this 2nd part to what is happening must be against site rules somewhere.

I don't think the Report-writer Shai however really belongs to it? Perhaps the 'usual contingent' jumped on it support of it, but if there are people who are unacquainted with the forums and the fine line in legality, I doubt it's fair for them to be punished for spurious reporting if they are experiencing a seemingly natural flow of thinking glg is breaking the spirit of the rules?
eddie2 wrote:well the thing you got to look at is the fact glg is not inviting them to the games i will go as far as to say these players would not accept another invite from glg.. so he gets lanlards to invite them then once they join glg joins the games.. this if it is the way it is happening has got to come under invite abuse.

wrong on several counts -- your facts are old/mixed up:
NO PRETENSE:
- I haven't promised to teach them the game in well over a year
- when I DID promise to teach, I did -- in detail: and 2 people earned 1,000 and 2,500 pts from those maps
CHARGING 5-6 PTS TO GET ASSES WHIPPED, but 5-6 pts:
- to offset RISK of -60, -80, -100 pts to me -- it's like a raffle/lottery to them
- so they should pay 20 pts to get beat by others?
- privates-sgts that play high ranks SHOULD expect to lose -- they LIKE playing higher ranks
WITHOUT GIVING ANY LESSONS.. . DURING GAME PLAY:
- DURING the game? and add more risk to losing 60-100 pts? are you insane? I run a business here
- see above, I rarely promise lessons - but when I did, I delivered
Please get your facts straight before exaggerating/BSing the public
GLG
