the green part of my pm
The only reason I believe you is that the informations about Tonks are correct. In order to know those you either search at the internet or you have read the books. But she couldn't change her appearance, only her hair style and colour.
In his claim he says that the information there is a direct copy from section of his pm that he is allowed to copy and paste. This seems to indicate that he either actually has this as his role or got this as fake-claim material from freezie. Upon contemplation, I think that the presence of quoteable pm sections written by freezie must mean that the scum got fake-claims with similar sections.

I find it odd, because jonty never said that he was quoting the green part of his PM. And the analogous part of my role PM to sparticus's is not green.

And finally, commuter is one of those convenient roles for mafia where they don't have to make up night actions. The risk of getting found out is relatively small. I'm also having problem figuring out how the claim fits the flavor. I mean, technically anyone can Apparate, she seems more like either a mason/lover with Lupin or maybe a Hider role.

My vote stays.

Well if you would like I can quote it but its of no value and merely a synopsis of the Harry Potter series and how I link to this game. But I like saf's thinking on the apparation but no-one can apparate within Hogwarts or the grounds its in a Brief History of Hogwarts!! (or whatever the book is called)

Actually I'm not 100% sure where this game is set. If it indeed it set on Hogwarts than just about everyone should have even transportation powers. Perhaps Hagrid would be busdriver because of his motorbike.

But my point is that even if this wasn't set on Hogwarts, at this point in the books, everyone knows how to apparate. So it's not like Tonks has a power that makes her a commuter.

I mean, if we really want to get into flavor spec, Order of the Phoenix is open to several possible players. Also, Dobby would make sense as a commuter because of the Shell House connection.

I have no problem with his quote of his post. I do hate guessing at what the moderator was thinking when he set the game up. To try and guess the characters included or not included ends up in accusations and lynchings based entirely on trying to BE the moderator.

SPARTACUS, since everyone has guessed your role, why don't you just confirm it for us, and what exactly you do. My brief search of "commuter in mafia" took me to Wikipedia, which states that the Commuter role is typically a mafia role. Now, I don't want to judge on what "should be typical," but it might put everyone at ease if we knew exactly what we're dealing with, so that we can confirm your night actions...just to make sure you're not lying.

I always associated commuter was town :-s . But I was recruitable 3rd party commuter in the Pokemon mafia so I think that means he could be all parties (I doubt he is 3rd party or mafia with the name alone but I suppose he could be mafia, if he was fakeclaiming.)

Just fyi, I'd like to confirm that there is a green part in my pm analogous to what Sparticus (Tonks) has, and from what I understand, Jonty does as well, so I'm quite concerned that Safariguy has nothing of that sort!
Therefore Vote Safariguy5

Also Jonty, eh? Skim much? At least have the decency to quote my whole post and look at it in context...

And otherwise, while I'm glad everyone has watched and/or read Harry Potty, I think there's way too much Flavour Speculation going on, that's muddying the water unseasonably much!

Ok, I'm going to work on my list in Excel and embed it as an image in a spoiler... So that's a big meow that it's still on the way.

Thoughts that I had:
  • It's odd that in SPART's alleged quote, Draco's name is spelled Drago.
  • It's odd that so many names are misspelled by alt when he seemingly has an ok knowledge of the series.
  • It does seem that safari slipped.
  • mc05025, I know you haven't played a lot, which is fine, but you are making a lot of incorrect assumptions it seems like.

More thoughts while I work on this list:
  • It's usually refered to as disapparating. Apparating is when you appear somewhere. Disapparating is the act of disappearing.
  • Dumbledore could disapparate out of Hogwarts. He had a line about this: "Being Headmaster has its privileges."

I am going to say this out there after conversing this with spartacus.

He asked me if he could ask what color his role pm name was.

I am going to globally answer No to that, as it's basicly asking what words is there in the wining condition. It reaches the same goal.

Your role name in your pm is in the color of your allignement, as per usual games ( town-blue, scum red, 3rd party orange etc )

That was simply to avoid confusion.

Go on with the game.

I did mispell drago. Sorry for that. Also...A last time I'll cover my mistake. Safari has a green part in his pm. EVERYONE has. Or should have.

Sadly, it seems I gave safari an ugly shade of nearly black stupid green. I am sending him a more recognizable version.

Any other questions about colors in pm/mispells? Might just throw it out now.

I'm Molly Weasley, Town Bodyguard. I suppose it doesn't really matter if I claimed anyways, because with Harry outed, I'm going to be protecting him every night until death.

And the green is really dark, I had to quote my PM to see it.

And yeah, I still think we should hang sparticus for a very suspicious claim to me.

Still could be a fakeclaim given to you by the mod. And really, a claimed commuter is more or less like a claimed VT. That and the flavor not really fitting the character in my mind is good enough for me to keep my vote.

The character name is blue and I'm a wizard. For the sake of clarity, I'm going to refer to people as town/mafia, because it should be pretty apparent whether we're wizards or not if you're familiar with the theme.

Kind of like Italian Style where "mafia" and "scum" made things confusing eh?
