I for one would like to put some pressure on MeDeFe, a player so productive and talkative he has made 6 posts in the last 13 pages of gameplay. They're not complete fluff, but he does state the obvious a lot. It's not too much to go on, but I don't see us talking about anything else today.

If you would like to add pressure, why aren't you voting? Surely, that would be the best way to add pressure to him than discuss him been missing.

Not much worth a vote because he state the obvious too much, It doesnt matter how much obvious something is, it has to be stated.

Because it isn't very much and I want to hear other cases (if there are any) before I start throwing a vote around.

It's good to see that you continue to talk without really adding to the discussion. Again you've engaged in game spec by discussing mod meta, talked about outside media, etc. All this has served is to up your post count without stirring up confrontations. Your only serious post would be that last one, calling out everywhere, but that's minor imo.

This says to me you're trying to avoid situations that will draw suspicion. So you're either a valuable town power role or scum. If you were a valuable role, I like to think you'd have changed your posting when called out on it last time.

Yeah, Ionno, I would think that mafia wouldn't wanna WIFOM their nightkills, so it's possible the doc protected someone else.

If I was mafia, I'd probably have a punt at killing cop N1 just in case doc bluffs but all WIFOM.

It really depends on the player and the scenario. For the doc if he is the one who stopped the kill assuming it was aimed at General, he may have felt uncomfortable attempting to WIFOM who they thought mafia would kill. For the mafia if they targeted general they probably figured that the doc WOULD attempt to wifom their kill. IF not it was either a good stab by the role blocker hitting the killer or a good WIFOM by the doctor in guessing who the mafia would target. Of course even all of this doesn't account for it having been possibly a jailkeeper. There's a lot of options.

Didn't the general say he wasn't roleblocked or was that my imagination.

Skimmed. SW said that a roleblocker could have gotten the killer, not the cop. Flimsy case but it's all we have for now.

So...people are finally getting on Jonty? If you want to add anything to your case, remember he was the first ( or one of ) to try and lynch or get a real bandwaggon on an inactive (drake) -before- the prod.

Vote remains on everywhere for his claim comment.

Still a bit weak but the points are accurate...well I've already got 50 something posts to read up on in one thread and a test coming up so I won't have time to review this thread for a while. In the meantime, Jonty's case seems to be the best to go on. vote Jonty

Well, I'm effectively at L-2 even with the technicalities. I am Izanami, Lover-Mason. I am all of your guys mum and I want you all to be happy. Standard lover mechanics I think, doesn't say anything different.

I believe jonty is a lover, I also believe that jonty is scum.
At first I thought that this was a case of Everybody hates Hades, and not knowing Japanese mythology very well I wasn't sure how they perceived the goddess of death. But, after a little more research, she seems to actually be a villain, and the Japanese seem to perceive her as such as well. (For instance, she is both the villain of Persona 4 and the inspiration for the villain in Okami) A town-mafia lover pair isn't uncommon, and now that I think about it, the term "Lover Mason" doesn't make sense. It is both redundant and contradictory. Lovers kill themselves after their partner dies, masons don't, but they both have the ability to talk to one another, so there's no reason to combine the roles. I think he just added the "mason" part so that we wouldn't suspect that he could be a mafia lover.

I'm not buying the claim, partly because the playstyle has not been indicative of a lover/mason claim. With a lover/mason claim, you have the assurance that at least 1 person is going to back you up. Avoiding conflict by not taking a stand doesn't really square with the role. And of course, voting the claimed cop...pretty much OMGUS.
