Accused:

sig1
sigvlk
sigis1983
vlk1

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis

Game number(s):

Game 10444283

Comments:

I would like to start out by stating the I'm not very fond of the fact that the reporting system is public – not all allegations end up being valid, and a false allegation could potentially end up staining the name of decent players.

Having said that (and since there is no alternative way to report) I believe that the above four players are in fact multiple accounts being run by a single person.

The first two played with me in game 10444283 – my suspicion came up when they seemed to gang up on me when it made no sense from the point of view of one of them. Upon inspecting their profiles, I noticed that they're both from Lithuania (not the most common country here).

Upon further inspection, I noticed that they are playing together on multiple games, and that they're constantly switching pairs with the other two players on the list (which, not very surprising, are both also from Lithuania). They combine different permutations so it wouldn't always be the same two players, but it's always a pair out of the above four.

In addition, I noticed the following:
1. Their names are suspiciously similar.
2. In all the games where two of them play, they seem to be joining the game one right after the other.
3. Based on a random check of 4-5 of the other games that they're playing in, they seem to constantly be playing their turns within seconds apart from each other (i.e. one ends a turn, and the other begins his turn within 10-20 seconds later).

To put it mildly - I'll be very surprised if after looking into this it would be concluded that these are not in fact multis being played by the same person.

I was lucky enough to be able to overcome their combined effort, but in some of the other games that I saw (which I wasn't part of), they ended up winning and taking points from decent players.

It must have been a shock to have people take turns in one of your 5 player games!! That is a lot of deadbeating you get, must make for some boring games..

freegin might also be in on this. He is from Lithuania as well and started an account on the 16th. All of the other 4 guys started an account from the 8th until the 11th. I would lean more towards SD, but the mods will be able to check into it better. In the games with them facing each other, the same one doesn't always win/isn't always in the lead. Still, at the very least this is pretty obvious that they are all playing as friends. Nothing posted on the walls, no chat to each other, nothing that would indicate that they met through here, yet involved in all sorts of games together. Maybe not let them play outside of team games together if it turns out they are not multis?

It's called a Support Ticket. A link to it can be found highlighted in the RULES section.

I understand that it seems reasonable to you that reporting abuse would be hidden inside the "Rules" Section under "Return & Refund Policy". I'm sure that if enough thought had been put into it, this could have been concealed even further (placing it in section 5.4.2b of the privacy policy, for example). I know, I know, it's also somewhere in the "Help" section too (you see? even you missed that one...). Perhaps placing a "Report Abuse" link within the game page itself would be a good idea?

On a more serious note, 2/3 of the responses have so far been off topic. If anyone else feels the urge to be amusing, please feel free to PM me or post on my wall (I promise to respond with a smile), as I would like to focus on the abuse part of my post - I won't be playing these multis again, and I'll be happy to prevent this from happening to others as well.
