XML troop options?

Postby kizkiz on Tue Jan 17, 2012 1:36 pm

I have been trying to read around and find out exactly what you can do with troops when considering new maps, but cannot find a definitive list
I have:

Neutrals
Neutral resets
Decay to 1
Bombards
One way assaults
Assault any territ wihtin x distance (any limit on distance?)
Deployment amounts can vary
Shared bonus territs
Troops that cannot leave a territ once on it (ala kings court)
Teleports (troops can attack certain territs from one point)
Auto deploy

Anything i have missed?
I'll apologise now, as i'm sure this has been done to death, but just can't find it!

The XML doesn't know "distance". There's just a list of territories, with each of those territories containing a list of which other territories they can attack. One-way borders are defined simply by defining territory A to be able to attack territory B, but not defining territory B to be able to attack territory A.

In other words, you can define any territory to be able to attack any other territory, no matter where those territories are on the map.

Similarly, this is defined by simply allowing territory A to attack territory B, but not allowing territory B to attack any other territory.

There is an XML Suggestions topic around here somewhere. If what you are considering isn't in there yet, you could add it.
