Actually I was talking about GLG.
I had just completed my 5th game when he invited me to play with him.
What he didn't know is that before these 5 games on CC, I used to to
play on another Risk-like site that is now closed.
I'm an experienced player. (hundreds of games).
I knew full well what he was doing.
And I didn't like it when he came to me and said:
"Hey newbie, u wanna play with me?"
People like that make my experience of the game less enjoyable.
And that's against the rules.

They really don't care if the community is enjoyable or not, as you said it's just for money, that's all they care, I've seen people in this forum that got their premium stripped only because they had an account without any games played 2/3 years ago without even remembering it!

BTW, happy kinda farming to anyone who is going to get 200 points per day using this method, you are all supported by the rules ...

And as I promised to talk about something after result of this case with you betiko, I'm not going to use something I called dirty already, that's how I play that map: LINK
Without inviting noobs/newbies to my games to get free points and win ratio, while playing against colonels, majors, captains and etc ...
I have +80% of wins on that map still, that's the right way, now I shall challenge/bet request for someone can doing it, not challenging if someone can win games with 100% chance of win!

As I said, I have no problem with people farming noobs because there is a down side to it, which is losing 100 points for a loss and winning just like 7 points for every victory. it's also very boring, if people enjoy doing that, fair enough.

now don't you think we have a point about CC just caring about the money with this rule? in what way is it not ok to farm "?" and is it ok to farm a clueless private? why isn't it extended to "?"?
a "?" couldn't care less of a defeat, a low ranked premium should be more concerned.

if a player has a couple of year old account he didn't re-use and he doesn't even remember the login/password for, why does he have to be severly punished with his new account turn freemium, why not just erase the old account? this is just to see him pay a second premium in a few days. multi-accounts is a business that brings in more money. he might not know the rule.

these so called cheating rules are not based on common sense but on methods to make the site more profitable.
I'm not saying trying to make money is wrong, just that the logic of what is ok/not ok to do on this site should be slightly revisited. I do feel like mods are embarassed with certain cases that are border line. given the written rules, they have to make them enter in a "cleared" or "busted" case, knowing that sometimes what they do can be harsh or a bit too nice given circumstances of each case.

Low or high rank, people can make their own choices. If they choose to accept an invite from a high-ranked "farmer" that's their choice, maybe they make an uninformed choice and give easy points to someone, but so what? They learn from it eventually. So some douchebag gets some extra points, what's it to anyone else? It's not like the points or ranks matter anyway. They're just abstractions, virtual achievements that you can use to decorate your name and feel proud of yourself. You can't buy your groceries with CC points.

Let's consider the alternative... CC starts policing who plays who, are you playing too easy games, are you "taking advantage" of newer players... where do we draw the line? Anyone who loses to a higher rank can then go whining "he farmed me, I want my points back!" And pretty soon the C&A will be nothing but farming accusations, and no one dares to play any public games at all for fear of getting accused.

Is that what you whiners want, to turn CC into a police state? f*ck that.

There is a link that you can click on to get your account information or they can click on the help tab and send an e-ticket.

That doesn't happen as often as you might think. Most multi's are free accounts that were trying to get around the 4 game limit or free accounts helping a premium account get points.

I did not complain about farming because the points system makes it kind of fair. i complained about a difference done between "?" and a clueless private.
what kind of difference does it make if you've just played 1 game or 200 games and you are invited to play an unknown map freestyle manual with strange objectives you don't understand?
i just think that it's ridiculous, and the door must be wide opened to farm "?" if farming clueless people is allowed. It's not because they are new to the site that they can't have a bit of luck as some of the other farmed low ranks and don't have 5% chances of winning. if they got here, they must have played some risk games in their lives. i just feel it's just to be sure you get as many new premium players as possible and you are afraid that a defeat where they don't understand what happened will make them run away from the site.

A lot of similar posts, but bottom line is that any sane person knows, or ought to know, that if he plays a map or game setting he's unfamiliar with, he's going to get creamed his first few times.

Sometimes one willingly takes that risk, because one knows that there's no way to learn except by trying new things, even at whatever risk. (And lets face it, losing 12 points to some farmer is not on the same level of risk as a failed kidney transplant.)

in tourneys you get in a 1 v 1 via a sarg. would it not also be classed as farming if it was a major sitting the account all game ???
