I thought ubc was exaggerating a tad, so i did some more math. At 3 months for each "set", the approximate run time is 53 years. if you could cram that down to a month per set, it becomes only ~18 years. ...still a trifle long.
I love Round Robin, but it does take time. PM sent to TheMissionary with some ideas.

Ok, I bolded the relevant numbers that I edited from dowians reading with the current format. (and ignoring the last sentence of 3 games every round-since it's 1 game per team for the first two 6 team RR stages.
I don't think this is too bad?
Either way, I'm in with a team of maasman, leapfrog and lequeen, since this does seem manageable.
Basically, it's 6 teams in 6 groups for the first stage, and then 6 teams with 2 groups for the second, with still only 1 game played against the other teams. (with teams dropping out at the end of each 'round' until there are 2 left in the group?)
And then in the final group there's 4 teams, with 3 games played against each of the 3 teams?
However, I'm not so certain you'll get 36 quads teams within the month? it's still 144 players, so just check how quickly other recent quad team tournaments have filled?
