Well after reading this thread i understand that <5 games is "new recruit", so check the dates and hours of my games and his PM, i had only 2 games.
And yes I'm insinuating that he tried to "farm" me.

YOU are doing the same thing, I looked through 5 games that he played since I read this 5 minutes ago and all 5 of them were against low ranked players that he posted on their wall, inviting them to his games. I assume this isn't against the rules but his rank defenatly doesn't represent his skill level.

Back on topic, maybe there should be a change to the rules regarding this type of play...everything else that one does here that affords someone an advantage is prohibited. This type of play is certainly in the generals favor...considering he picks his targets.

Everyone of my posts was on topic. Yours haven't been, plus your posting about this topic on my wall and insulted my clan. If your going to quote me, at least put the whole post...not just an abreviated version...that way it can stay on topic. And I'm sure that had maxfaraday posted a new topic you would have trolled him to use the search function...I have read enough of your posts to know what kind of person you are. His post was on topic and adding new insight to the issue, so no need to flame him.

You had 5 completed games before he sent you the invite. Like you said check the dates and times of your games. The wall post was after you completed 5 games.

Looks like the Gen. has found his loop hole to farm new players. He just waits til the 5 games are completed. It's not technically farming by the definition, but if there ever was someone farming it would be him. He invites new players to a complicated map, where he knows he will have the best chance to win, and does his best to take their points.

19:41 is 7:41 PM and he invited you less than three hours after completing your fifth game. He didn't break the rules, but you couldn't really come any closer to farming.

Although as has been shown - this is not a case of farming 'new recruits' ... under the Rules page it states:- Unwritten Rules Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits

That obviously means that farming as has been done here COULD still be considered gross abuse if the mods so wished.

But then this player has been reported several times before and has previously been warned when he did farm New Recruits before he changed his name. Interesting really ( or suspicious ) that he has been able to make a name change.

So maybe the mods have been providing us with the answer to this problem of farming / non-farming, all along.

Has anyone actually filed a case for Gross Abuse towards GLG?

The mods have stated over and over that this isn't farming, but it is most definitely a gross abuse of the game.

Its worth a try.
