Looking at the game it looks like you and red were going at each other pretty much the whole game. In round 9 you take a card and then fort to your border with red which could be taken as an aggressive move. Your screen shot and comment that he could decimate yellow are a little misleading to me. In round 10 he was only getting 5 troops so he would not have done much damage and you received 7 and you did not try to decimate yellow. While reds attack on you didn't make sense he might have thought that you didn't try to weaken yellow why should he along with your whole game of attacking each other. In other words he decided it was payback time.
