It seems like it's not fully possible to attack by clicking, to attack STD from Virus by example I had to use the dropdown menu. (using Chrome and clickables)

I played a couple speeders just now and it worked just fine for me :?

Though I did notice PROB still needs to be PROBE in the example of a "tech pair" in the right-hand legend (where it says "ANY TECH PAIR GIVES +2" - which, now that I think about it, might sound better with "YIELDS" instead of "GIVES"). Also, I think you should switch the Nuke Silos and Alien Base objective with the DNA Labs and Human Base objective in the top legends.

i'm really liking this with fog. the hiding options are great and the one way routes offer nice spying options without others knowing you're spying.
i also think it's surprisingly well balanced for 1v1 and going first doesn't provide an advantage at all.
in fact on both games i played the person going first lost but that had a lot to do with crappy rolls :))

also i have not encountered any xml issues. well done VS.

as for the probe and the switching thing, i'll post an image in a few minutes.

Yeah, I played a couple 1v1 Sunnys that were good. I should try it with fog, though, that does sound more fun.

Babe, I'm 53 years old. If I can't produce something of quality anymore, I might as well be tossed out with the rest of the things that rotting ;) Oh, and thanks :P

made the changes that VS suggested and also added some colours in the text to make everything even more clear.

Looks good, though the DNA Lab in the small version is aligned right instead of left.

i'm obviously biased but i think the map is not that hard to understand once you've played a few games.

2011-11-09 06:54:02 - Jippd received 4 troops for 12 regions
2011-11-09 06:54:15 - Jippd deployed 6 troops on [Alien Tech 2.2.1] VIRUS - Terran Viruses
2011-11-09 06:54:50 - Jippd assaulted [Alien Tech 3.1.1] STD - Advanced Viral Transmission Tactics from [Alien Tech 2.2.1] VIRUS - Terran Viruses and conquered it from neutral player
2011-11-09 06:55:19 - Jippd assaulted AS-6 (Human Base) from [Alien Tech 3.1.1] STD - Advanced Viral Transmission Tactics and conquered it from lisbon101
2011-11-09 06:55:19 - lisbon101 no longer holds a base and is annihilated by the trans-species-ial war

Clickies did not work for the attacks listed in this log. FYI hope the log helps pinpoint the issue. PM me if there are more questions

I had the same typ of problem with moving from tech level 2 to tech level 3... had to use the drop down boxes.

yep same as trini said, i had some problems using clickies on the right side drop down boxes... not sure if its a prob with the xml or clickies itself... i could normally attack it using the old drop down menu attack, but couldn't use clickies at all

Great map by the way.. fricking brilliant, i use to be obsessed with lunar war but I think this might take over that obsession spot.

Please report the clickies issue in the correct forum, so the right guys can look at it and find a solution ;)

And that is fine. Not everything needs to be spelt out to players. To those that know, it will be a bit of nostalgia, to those that do not, they where born at the wrong time. ;)

ye, and i think this treat doesn't have enough comments like:

"somebody set up us the bomb"

"you are on the way to destruction"

and the like.

Haven't really gotten a chance to play this or figure out the map yet, but I am kind of disappointed in the name... as it is, this map looks like some kind of X-Com ripoff, not Zero Wing. How do I make main screen turn on? I want to launch every Zig, but there's no Zigs to be seen, anywhere. I was thinking it'd be like a Pearl Harbour type map with lots of bombardment hi-jinks, but instead it's a tech race. There's no tech in Zero Wing, just things flying around and shooting each other. And to top it off, there's no purple guy named CATS laughing at you and saying stupidly badly translated Engrish nonsense, and no pop culture All Your Base references at all. I don't understand why it's called this, even if the map turns out well it feels like a majorly missed opportunity to poke some fun at a gaming meme. Way way too serious.

Just started playing this one, but one small usability note...

The legend says Human Base can assault Human Tech Level 1, BUT it doesn't say one-way assault. I assume Aliens > Tech 1 and DNA/Nukes > Tech 2 are also one-way assaults?

This is a little confusing, and though it is something you'll learn after the first mistake, it seems like an easy fix. Just add "one-way" before assault in the legend. Then players like myself won't

Sorry, but any map with standard drop that this can happen and you don't even get a second round has a serious flaw. Those neutrals need to be bigger. Game 10062067

on the middle legend box it clearly says what can attack the human/alien bases and the human/alien tech lvl 1 isn't listed there.
however i can simply add "(one way)" in the legend to avoid any confusion.

it was a really freaky coincidence in that game.
he got a great drop, perfect dice and you left your base undefended.

however i have found an exploit which despite being known by some i will not make it public to avoid further spreading.
because of this exploit those neutrals will change so your concern will be solved.
