OK brought my laptop to class so I'll go ahead and start commenting:

If you tell someone they will regret voting you, or even boting you, that only makes them more likely to vote you. Being a voteless townie isn't all that much bad either. At this I suggest you claim.
I realize what this entails but I have two reasons. Number one is that a tree stump makes you a confirmed townie. Everyone can rest easy (although you will still have to prove it by showing us you can't vote).
Now, I will neither confirm or deny this again, but, hypothetically, if what you're saying is true, then I will assume you know enough about this said role that I can start poking holes in your logic.
One: If, hypothetically, I can't vote, I essentially become a free kill for mafia, since you know that when calculating town-mafia ratios for when the game ends, VOTELESS TOWNIES ARE NOT COUNTED TOWARDS TOWN. Thus, it seems that you trying to get me to claim is essentially equivalent to you trying to get a free kill on a townie.
DoomYoshi wrote:Yu may thin that your role sucks, but town won't be likely to kill you until late game and the mafia will never kill you, so you should be safe for now. Whereas I may not last the night.
Again, hypothetically, why would town even waste a lynch on me? It's the equivalent of saying "no lynch".
DoomYoshi wrote:Second, you already practically claimed. It would be ethical for you to full claim. Right now you are following the letter of the law, but not the spirit. If everyone knows your role, that counts as a claim in my eyes, even though you didn't say "I'm a tree stump". Skirting around claiming this way defeats the purpose of your role.
Frankly, this is the only point that I see some validity in. If this is ruining the game in any way, people please let me know, and I will officially claim. I don't want my personal strategy ruining the game for everyone else.
