The accused are suspected of:


Conducting Secret Diplomacy in numerous games over a lengthy period & also for accnt sitting abuse.

There is no proof of secret diplomacy here. You have simply noted your personal observations and opinions without any other proof. All of the other charges vs VicFontaine were addressed in the previous action noted by jefjef. It would seem the bulk of the issue remaining would be vs Grandilof and Melog. It would be nice if it were amended to say so.

Your portrayal of events and opinions are shaded to make things sound different than what they are.

These 3 are friends who often play as doubs or trips with each other,

That is a pretty big assumption there. How do you know they are friends? They have played exactly 1 trips game together, and neither Melog or Grandilof has been on a VicFontaine doubles team. I do not think that these games you listed or they played would be considered 'often'. They have played in 9 games where all three of them were involved and 1 of those was the trips game. Then you add the one or two where there were not all three. Huge numbers here.

I am sure you were able to read the game logs and look at the maps and based on all the white ?'s establish that they were in cahoots rather than just playing the game as they saw it. You seem to be able to just know that. It must be a talent. I dont have it. Love how you used 'established patterns of play'. It seems to me that they were just playing the game.

They favour 8 player doubs where VicFontane will partner with someone not involved in the scam and usually on fog settings, then systematically set out to destroy the players not involved.

Really? I don't see how Vic benefits from any of the actions taken by Melog or Grandilof. As stated before, all of the sitting issues have already been addressed. Either way, it seems ludicrous to assume that he would want to look just to let another team win...

Some other dodgy tactics ive noticed:

Your game analysis on these games are very slanted, paranoid, and opinionated. I believe them to be inaccurate representations of what actually happened. You saw what you wanted to see, and printed them out as accusations. Actual game play, positions, and strategy that happened in a game went unnoticed as you casually looked through these. I will not go through these individually as I know that each player should be able to see the truth in this statement.

Melog misses turns until eliminated so that Grandilof recieves full bonuses without having to team-mate kill, thereby giving Grandilof in each of these games 10-15 deploy early on in the game as other teams are trying to establish themselves.

HERE, is what the entire accusation should have been. There is a pattern of deadbeating here that should be analyzed by the C&A mods to act on.

Way to miss the obvious buddy.. there is no "they" - Vics playing as half the board .. and yeah you can actually read info in a game and make accurate assessments, its incredible! What do they call it again.. ahh thats it.. 'a game log' ! I think its pretty reliable, but you know better ill bet Yeah i get it, 'dont ever express concerns unless you have a full written confession right?' Fine fine, ok so Vics seen through fog situations, and has played on behalf of his opponents and various sitting violations and continues to play in those said games but its all good and im just jumping to such outrageous conclusions. Why dont you cite all of the game log evidence where Vics team and Melog/Grandilof's teams have attacked each other in these shared games and express it as a percentage mr know it all? (let me jump to another conclusion and predict itd be below 5%) ... and why are we even still calling it 'Vics team' and 'Melogs/Grandilofs team' when theyre all played by Vic. Anyone who is an opponent in any of my games who wishes to have an account sitter plse pm me and we'll organise something Im done arguing semantics with forum lurkers. I simply saw a lot of things that concerned me and I posted my concerns, and I stick by them. I know that its fun to pull apart peoples posts and add your oh so interesting two cents worth, but dont treat people like theyve no right to their suspicions or concerns when thats exactly what this forum exists for. I have nothing personal against you, but having people come in here and talk about how youre a stand up guy is just an old bit anymore. There were accused people of the past whom it didnt matter if there was support of a character person or not.

No one is telling you not to post suspected abuses here. However, as no one likes to be falsely accused, you could understand how they would like factual evidence to be posted with the accusation.

All you are doing is attacking people with a different view than yours. It is not helping your case at all.

I simply pointed out that a lot of what you said in your accusation was your opinion of actual events and nothing more. It was pointed out to you rather early that the sitting aspect was dealt with already. You provided no other facts or corroborating evidence to prove secret diplomacy on anyone. The logistics on who attacks who and when largely depends on the drop and other factors that simply reading the log will reveal to you. Besides, there are no rules saying anyone must attack anyone a certain number of times in a game. And you have no other evidence of a post on a wall or anything else to go on.


So, you made accusations regarding secret diplomacy with no evidence and only your opinion on how it should have been played vs how it was played, and on sitting abuse which has been handled.

Yes. VicF already had his sitting activities, that you listed in this complaint, NOTED and WARNED on the 18th. (That is why melog deadbeated out of those team games. Vic was correctly no longer sitting for him as per the warning he received).

I am sick of taking turns in Melog's account. He told me he'd be gone "for a few days," and he still isn't back. I am tired of the time it takes from my family and life, but gave the guy my word I'd not deadbeat his turns. I DON'T KNOW WHO THIS GUY IS. HE ASKED ME TO SIT FOR HIM, and I've done my best.

I asked Grandilof, his perennial partner in games (or so it appears), when he was coming back. I still have heard nothing.

You did what I asked you to do and did not sit in games where Melog was you opponent. Like I said, you can still play his turns in other games, but that is up to you. Melog is responcable for his own account so don't give away his pw, that is up to Melog to give out.
