Escalation! World at War

Each round the number of opponents increases as does the size of the map

Number of Entrants: 48 (Freemiums are welcome)
Maps: Doodle Earth, Classic, and World 2.1
Game Type: Standard
Play Order: Sequential
Troop Deployment: Automatic
Spoils: Escalating
Reinforcements: Chained
Fog of War: Yes

48 player will be randomly assigned to 1 of 24 games (2 players each)
Winners of each game advance as described below

Round 1: Doodle Earth - 24 games x 2 players each -> 24 winners advance

Round 2: Classic - 6 games x 4 players each -> 6 winners advance

Round 3: World 2.1 - 1 game x 6 players -> 1 Winner is crowned Champion

I am considering changing the tournament a little due to slow sign ups...

24 guys total instead of 48, same maps

round 1: 12 games x 2 players -> 12 winners advance
round 2: 4 games x 3 players -> 4 wiiners advance
round 3: 1 game x 4 players -> 1 champion

amy thoughts?
