How do you throw off a cop?

Postby Mr. Squirrel on Mon May 16, 2011 11:42 am

Has there ever been a time when a caught mafia member was actually able to survive despite the cop getting a confirmed investigation on them? I'm curious to see if this has ever happened before. Has there ever been a defense that has actually worked in this situation or is the scum pretty much screwed?

I've been at the receiving end of this multiple times and I think the closest I ever got to succeeding would be in the rolegift mafia. I was still lynched at the end, but I got the town to doubt themselves for about a week.

Yeah, check out Terminator. Blake caught Rodion in the night as scum and then Rodion managed to convince the town that blake was scum. So blake got lynched! And he was the actual cop. It was a sweet manuever

That would be 5he closest I have seen however I am not sure if that even counts as blake turned out to have a hidden bomb so when rodion hammered...I am pretty sure it has happened before I would just need to look back through some threads.

^^^

God, I was face-palming myself while reading that.
Blake was just going: "guys, I'm the cop, I found scum".

Then Rodion would post a 10 page dissertation  .

Anyway, I like to think I was pretty close in Briasburg. Though I'm not sure if it counts as I was throwing a scummate under the bus

I have actually succeeded in this. In this game we managed to distract town for a few days with a cult threat before I finally claimed lyncher when my back was against the wall. That's really the only way I can think of to avoid that fate: claiming a less harmful anti-town role. Even with this it took theme knowledge and town cooperation to pull it off.

And I was laughing the whole time during Terminator. Scum deserved to win that game.

Yeah, Rodion pulled a filibuster and confused everyone.

The funny thing about the terminator game I asked to replace because I really expected to smash rodion into the ground...and right before I was to replace...he came out with the perfect fake claim for what I expected to be in the game...then I was slamming my head into the desk at everyone believing naxus over blake...and then I slammed my head into the desk over my own mistake regarding the freezie case...

I try pretty hard to have convincing fakeclaims. Although I was surprised nobody called naxus out on his first.

This is a very scummy question, vote Mr. Squirrel
