If you are not on this list you might want to send me pm in the next few days. I fully expect to have all issues resolved by May 1st and since all updates and communication go through the thread it is your responsibility to make sure you are staying up with the communications and making sure I have you advancing properly.

For those that are wondering: It's 1147 players. We have reached the halfway point! (At least in one sense)

I think that was about in line with some of the predictions. The thing is only a certain PERCENTAGE are likely to be eliminated in any given round. Thus the absolute NUMBER that are eliminated decreases each round. There are various factors that have been mentioned that make the PERCENTAGE eliminated also decrease as more rounds are played. Thus we (I hope I'm part of this group) are in for quite a long tournament still.

4/30 9:07AM--At this time I believe I have went through all pm's and corrected any mistakes that were given to me. I have a few more invites to send out in round 4 but this will not slow up the tourney. I have to do some stats and some updates over the next 24 hours, but unless something crazy happens a new bounty to start off round 5 will be posted tomorrow night and round 5 will begin. You will start to see round 5 games, but you won't be able to join them until I pm the passcode out. Please keep updated on the thread post questions or concerns on the thread.

Indeed, I hope to be around for as long as possible myself, it would be cool in the next round or so to get a freemium count...you know, to give me hope that I may win something shiney :lol:

I agree with Melichor, a freemium count would be helpful for the future.
thank you!

The top 25 players on this list may pm me with maps and settings for this round.
Anyone who pm's me today that is on the top 25 of this list will get about 50 games made with their settings
I am sending them a pm
If you are not listed as one of the top 25 you can pm me and I will make 5-10 games with your map and settings
This is the only day I will be making requested games for round 5

This is also the only post going out about the making of games for round 5

Honestly guys, for a fremium count I would have to click on each individual name (1150) to check as there is no easy query for a check like that. The only chance of this happening is when we get between 50-100 players. If someone who wants this so badly wants to volunteer to check everyone the list is on the remaining players in the tourney (one of the first four posts). I barely have time to make my turns of late so I will not be doing this.

Thanks for understanding.

Seriously people, stop asking for meaningless stat updates. They're not "helpful". Play your games, win 1, move on. You'll find out who won the medals at the end.

This stat would be nearly impossible to get, as you would have to go through the list and see who of all the players are freemiums. This IS NOT an easily searchable thing with the plug-ins that are available. So, it is highly unlikely that this will happen until there are much fewer players left in the tournament. Even then, it will probably be solved by someone claiming to be the last freemium and seeing if anyone else can claim that they lasted longer.

Looks like HA beat me to making this point. For him to even offer going through a list of 50-100 people, I think is more than generous on his part. But regardless, you won't be getting an "update" on this one for quite a while.

What really worries me about this freemium thing is that people can go from prem to frem instantly when their 1-year expire. How do you track who was a legit fremium and who was a "premium-gone-fremium"?

I'm sure HA could ask CC to make sure that a person was a freemium at the start of the tournament. It should be based on the start, cuz I doubt CC would allow a tourney director to award a GA (which are at the discretion of CC) that creates a disincentive for a player to go premium.

Find 10 volunteers and you each can go through 115 players to find the freemiums (or 20 volunteers to each go through 60). Make a list and keep it for future reference. I'm sure HA would even post it on the front page if you provided it to him and updated it each round.
taking a break from cc, will be back sometime in the future.

in some of my tourneys, I asterisk the freemiums in my signup list - usually for don't send one game until the previous finishes purposes. A similar method could eventually be used, but I agree, it's not worth it until we're under say 500.

Sorry for the request, as a "little guy" so to speak in the grand scheme of happenings here at CC I don't know the difficulties in gathering stats and such as I don't use plugins. Sorry if it came across as me being a whiney player as that was not my intent

Not coming across as whiny at all--I just wanted to explain that it is almost impossible to check that stat

Nothing wrong with asking and you did it in the thread-- that is the right way to do things

9:45 My son is in bed (I am so tired myself and am ready for bed, but I want to get this round going). To start the round I will do a bounty of course--for this bounty I am going to brag a little. I just won a tourney for a certain number of tourney wins. It is a great milestone for me and it is the passcode for this bounty. It is a number--you must be eligible for round 5 to qualify and you must find the game and join it first--good luck and then good luck beating me on my favorite map :). The passcode for round five will be pm's out after I make 1000 games as I won't be able to make anymore until late tomorrow night.

if this current rate of elimination continues 44% eliminated every three rounds then
going into round
7 =784 players left
10=439
13=246
16=138
19=77
22=43
25=24
28=13
31=7
34=4
37=2
just wanted to restate my theory so my estimate is now around 100 people off at 1030
