Conflicting emotions on this one. Whilst I'm glad to have brought BlueBell's case to light I'm sorry to learn it was Buddysystem who was behind it, as his punishment was Papillonesque.

I also don't think the whole clan should suffer due to the indiscretions of its leader, in the same way I don't blame Americans for the policies of George W. Bush.

Chariot, when you use the term Papillonesque are you referring to the prisoner or the whole butterfly broken on a wheel symbol?

To the prisoner, Henri Something (been 30 years since I read that book). I just recall he was sent to a penal colony for stealing a loaf of bread.

General Brock II wrote:Whoah, fellows, this is quite the move against the Clan. You guys are making some slanderous accusations without comprehending any of the situation.

I will admit that I knew BlueBell was formerly Buddysystem - in fact, I encouraged his return to Conquerclub. Buddysystem's account, as many of you may remember, was hacked into and the hacker began point dumping - the moderators did not hold Buddy at fault for the situation. I thought that his account would have been completely closed down, and Buddy requested a new start, also believing that his last account was shut down by the Mods. In fact, before this ban was enacted, I contacted the Administrator (King-Herpes) about this issue to ensure that the other account was closed.

You need to look up slander in the dictionary before attempting to use it. Firstly, if anything the accusations would fall under libel and not slander because the accusations are in the written form. Secondly, the accusations are not slanderous because they have the justifcation of truth. You let a known multi play in games.. now as to the second part of your defence in contacting King_herpes. Firstly that is the wrong person to contact, he is not an administrator.. he is a common user. Also, sure the other account was closed but that does not give a right for a person in any circumstances to make a second account, that falls under gross abuse of the rules and the fact you gave legitimacy to this move is why people are saying your reputation is tarnished...maybe you just didn't understand the rules, I don't know.

He should understand the rules pretty well considering it just happened with Armyspeeder in his clan a couple of weeks ago.

Eddie don't start a witch hunt. Stunna has nothing to do with this.

That isn't what Eddie was saying at all. He was comparing this case to another one, which is a perfectly acceptable thing to do to check precedent.

My apologies. It was King Achilles... I was a little flustered, last night, and my back was agonizing me.

Also, it has come to light that Buddysystem/BlueBell created multiple accounts in order to argue his case once his original account had been hacked. I didn't know this fact, or I wouldn't have invited him into the clan. I believed him to be entirely innocent of any wrongdoing (being a victim of a hacker who point dumped on him).

I do not endorse "multis," as some of you have accused, and the 1st Regiment has been a sportsmanlike, gentlemanly clan throughout its wars.

I fear that it will be a long process to regenerate our reputation, and we will do what we can. I''ve already consented to having numerous multi-checks performed on several members of the Foot Guards.

That's quite the rig! I do have a home-fitness , but it's definitely older than that. ;) Yeah, pulled an important muscle back there while fencing. Figures that it had to occur on such a contentious day.

i disagree.. when you are the head of a clan and you accept a known multi into your clan and place him in a challenge with the full knowledge that you are aiding in breaking the number one rule of the site, your character is called into question and your character is tarnished...-the black jesus

I would like to clear up a few things about buddysystem. buddysystem should have used the e-tickets to handle getting his account back. He was around long enough to know the rules but used ignorance as an excuse to make a second account. The e-ticket system will work, but it is not express mail it doesn't work over night it takes some time.

If buddysystem created the second account to communicate why was he playing games the day he created the account?

I'd just like put a vote of confindence into General brock. He's recently took me into the clan and i've had plenty of dialoge with him since then and at no point has the subject of cheating or knowing multis come up. nor have i had any reason to suspect this is the way the clan operates otherwise i would have nothing to do with it. I think he's just a individual that is interested in making a comptetive clan, not a elaborate cheat. Otherwise wouldn't he be a multi/cheat his self? Anyway this is obviously all IMO only, and if the mods feel the need to investigate any member of the clan i'm sure theres no issue there. I for one have nothing to hide and the mods can feel free to check my account and comms at there will. I am too lazy to clear my inbox so all my comms with GB are there. :)

Please note I am all for punishing those caught for foul play on this site as i'm sure the rest of the clan is.

this statement is 100% false. he knew the guy was a multi, brought him into your clan, and put him in a challenge. so, anything else you have to say is negated by the fact that your above statement is wholly false...-the black jesus

You just don't get it, do you? I didn't go and say, "Hey, this guy's a banned multi - welcome aboard!" I didn't know he was a "multi," or that he was banned. All I knew, is that, sometime ago, his account had been abused and closed. I then thought it reasonable for him to return, not knowing anything else about the incident that occurred months ago. End of story.

And I'm not going to argue any further... What's happened has happened, and I'm now going to work on building integrity with the clan, once again.

Its is not 100% false. He said he had no dialog with G. Brock concerning multis or cheating. If they haven't talked about it, then it is 100% accurate. His vote of confidence may be misplaced, but that is nothing to do with you.

Everyones entitled to there opinon, but i stand by what i say. If you dont have experience with anyone accused in this thread its probaly not worth you posting in this thread as you can't add nothing to the case? off course if you are involved and i've missed something i apologise.

Im not trying to cause a stir just sticking up for someone i believe is getting alot of bad press for a innocent mistake. As i mentioned before the mods are free to investigate me, and see if my view are indeed false as accused.

I would also like to re-iterrate i do not support cheats of the game and welcome the banning of BlueBell even if its cost us a clan game. Small price to pay IMO.

Black Jesus. Cut it out please. Now. Yes Brock did something bad, he knowingly used a multi. however he did NOT consider bluebell to be a multi because of the way he was banned. He also had correspondance with achilles here. ---->Image

Now the CLA are sorting this matter out, speculation here will have absolutely no effect whatsoever except to reveal, at least to me who are the biggest trolls. Everyone is entitled to their say but this has gone far enough now. They have forfeited the game and subjected their whole roster to a multi check. I would ask that a hunter locks this thread so that it doesnt degenerate into flames, and then reopen it at such time as the CLA and the CD's have made a decision on the case.

i'm sorry, did i violate some forum rule? is this a warning from a mod or something else. and i am sorry, but ignorance of the rules does not exclude someone from following the rules. he posted incriminating evidence on the multi's wall about his name choice this time around, etc... and if this weren't a big deal, they would not be discussing disbanding this clan and/or asking brock to step down, within the CLA forum...-the black jesus
