Thus it's very feasible (in fact it's likely) that when it gets closer to the final there will be one player who has single-handedly knocked out a great number of players - doing everyone a favour - and yet who in all likelihood won't go on to win the tourney outright. So it seemed to me a good way of giving recognition to someone who obviously did so well, that's all.
