Damn, I hadn't noticed that ETROPAL had signed up for this again, or I would have warned you. He did the same thing in the 2010 tournament. I don't know if he's doing it on purpose or it he just doesn't understand the rules, but he certainly can't seem to follow them.

I already solved this issue with the player that made the mistake. As it was a small one, it will be fixed next turn. Please keep me posted if any issue arises.

About reinforcements, I allowed everybody to choose his own setting.

ok sorry i dont understand english if other rules i cant because no idea how play

j'aurais jamais du m'inscrit a ce tournoi, qui me semble pas pareil au centaine d'autre que j'ai dƩjƠ participer.

Pourquoi ne pas apprendre l'anglais dans votre temps libre? c'est amusant! ;) Je suis espagnol, mais j'ai appris l'anglais parce que c'est une langue trĆØs utile.

Thanks for the link, SS. Glad I found out about that.

It probably wasn't very fair to put Clandemonium as my groups first map, being a new map with new settings to most of the players. It turned out to be a complete slaughter.

Everybody has his chance at slaughting with his map ;) However, I have never played it, but Clandemonium looks like a very clear map easy to understand (mastering it is a different thing). I personally dislike more "battle maps" like Stanlingrad, that we have also in the tournament ;)

I agree that Stalingrad is a very difficult map to master, but in terms of maps to learn AA on... Clandemonium may not be the best. The second I started gaining Deep Land it was all over - like one player said earlier on, I was getting more reinforcements than the other 5 players combined!

Fortunatelly, they can be fixed at this stage. I provided instructions about how to fix them. If they are followed, the game will continue like if nothing had happened.

In that case, be careful when game 7 arrives. They might want to take their revenge ;)

Hey Oliver,

First round of our second game [Game 8739570] (on the random map, I assume that cyan wasn't expecting the map or something similar), and we have a minor violation:

2011-03-22 22:45:42 - fmdm03 assaulted Ca' Melone from I Laghi and conquered it from doro
2011-03-22 22:45:58 - fmdm03 assaulted Gaviano from Ca' Melone and conquered it from uk massive

I personally don't see it as an issue as I Laghi borders both Ca' Melone and Gaviano, so the attacks theoretically could have been made as follows:

2011-03-22 22:45:42 - fmdm03 assaulted Ca' Melone from I Laghi and conquered it from doro
2011-03-22 22:45:58 - fmdm03 assaulted Gaviano from I Laghi and conquered it from uk massive

with the same result.

Since you're the director, what's the official ruling on something like this? (I already took Gaviano on my turn, regardless of this play)

Thanks for pointing it Denominator. As a veteran AA player you did a great diagnostic of the issue. As it had no consequences, game can continue. But it was very good to catch it, because it serves as warning and helps avoiding later mistakes that could have worse consequences. Already sent fmdm03 a friendly warning about it.
