I posted one question which wasnt answered, as it was written on the time of HA's apsence. so here question again:

what about bounty on Blitzaholic? I saw he didnt play in round 2? does it mean that he is eliminated and will not play anymore? what will happen with his bounty?

also, can you update the 6-0 list? the clean sheet list would become very interesting to see how will drop down and down by rounds.

Hi HA,
i know youre busy, its not urgent,
i lost my first game in rd 1, and won so far the other 7 games straight,
so far i played and won 3 different maps,

so should i go for straight wins or different maps,
since i startet new here, i have played more classic,
and the other maps first time.
do you have a list concerning this two options?

and could everybody who has won so far 9 games straight on how many diff maps,
or 8 won out of 9,
or 7 won out of 9
or 6 won out of 9
post it here?

thx

Sorry, but is this an important question? I can't even remember what maps I have played with, so I'd have to search back for them. I can't see how the answers will be of any help to you.

Ok--you have been dropped and I remade the game--let me know who you are giving this opportunity to and I will invite them. Very nice of you.

Alright, I'd like to give it to josko.ri!

MrBenn-contest for most played maps(1 year) –details: The premium prize will be twelve months for the first person to win on all available maps, or twelve months shared between the players with the most unique map wins (if it's more than four then there will need to be some way of identifying the top four)(over all winning percentage will be the tie-breaker if needed)

Report to HighlanderAttack when you have won on every map or
When you are done with the tourney-report to HighlanderAttack the amount of different maps you were able to win on. They will be verified and a list will be kept

The longest streak ( games won straight in a row)
will be a general achievment medal

and of course out of interest a list who is in the 6-0 club,
so i dont have to play them next round ;)

Ah - how is it, if one plays a player that one has played an earlier round, will one forfeight that game? I only considered not playing the same player in multiple games in the same round, and haven't checked my earlier games. I don't think I've played the same player twice, though, even in different rounds.

How is it HA?

And what if I was the first to choose a game and one of the players I've already played choose the same game?

Interesting!
I've won on 5 different maps so far:

Game numbers: 8387171 8386745 8384430 8552585 8656828

Any way of knowing who is leading in this category and by how much?

Everybody who is asking for game stats, those are trivial things compared to making sure the tournament runs smoothly. None of those will actually start mattering until we get much later rounds. Compete in your games and worry later about whether or not you're the last person with a perfect record or the person who has won on every map. HA doesn't have time to compile those requests multiple times in the middle of a round, and no one should be expecting him to.

Guys a little common sense here.

1. If you are first in the game (red) and someone else joins you don't control that and HA can clearly see that.

2. The prohibition on playing the same players over is simply an effort to prevent cheating. For instance it would be relatively simple for me to find someone where we each play 2 games, he wins one and I the other. Thus HA has put in the rule against playing the same player over and over to avoid this issue. If it happens once or twice its not going to be a big deal but if two players are consistently playing round after round after round then it should be looked at.

3. This tournament will be 30, 40 or 50 rounds long. There are over a thousand players still active. Let some of them start weeding out before bothering HA with scoreboards. He has to create 2000+ games every round and that takes a boatload of time to do. Then he has to check every player to see who has wins this round and who doesn't. You're going to have to wait on the other stuff until the rounds when its not as time consuming to do things. Post here if you want.

4. For those who wanted to know your own stats. Come on now, at most you've played 9 games so far. How hard is it to do a search for the tournament HA's 200th tournament with your name in the player box. Figure out your own stats at the moment, figure out your opponents and maps won on etc.

5. This is round 3 guys. By now you should have a couple of things figured out. FIrst, when the next round is ready to start HA will PM everyone still in it. Second, you don't have to post your wins. Nobody else really cares and HA isn't going to record from the thread, he's going to do a search of the tournament stats to see who won and who advances.

For the stat seekers--I will have some time this weekend and I will post some stats for sure. I had a choice to start round three with a really busy week and not get the different kind of stats done and not clean up the front page and archive round 2 information OR start the round and catch up on those things. I will not let the tourney effect my job and my real life, but I will also do those things when I can. I did not want to hold up the tourney just for stats and a little archiving and updating bounty winners. I will have time this weekend and you can be assured that I catch all those things up.

I can also do wonders with excel so like I have said before if your games come up with a pattern playing the same players from round to round or alternating with players every few rounds I will catch you. For those of you who let me know your mistakes feel free to keep them coming. It is good information for me and it lets me know you are not trying to take advantage. Remember to play every game out as they all count. If someone has to be disqualified it will happen after the fact of the game.

I have also kept up with pm's for mistakes and passwords up until this morning and I will catch up all questions from the thread. I have my son tonight and he goes on a cruise with his mom so this will be one of my last checks on the thread until he goes to be and frankly I am so tired I may not even get back on CC tonight. Hang in there and everything will be updated and answered sometime this weekend at the latest
