Possible multiple account abuse - Driftwood 747[CLEARED]ES

Cheating/Abuse Squad

Not sure how to go about this without sounding like a douche, but it seems to me that Driftwood 747 is creating "newbie" accounts to populate many of his games and boost his overall score with their forfeitures.

I have encountered this player before without previous problems. However, recently I joined game #8552006 as the second player, and I thought it odd that after only 1/2 day the game filled up with three "?" newbies. So, I did a cursory glance at Driftwood 747's game history which is cluttered with waaaaaay more "?" opponents that anyone's history I've ever seen.

Now someone who has played many games as Driftwood (4900+) would normally run into "?" every now and again, but eventually most ?s go away as they play more. But Driftwood has a suspicious number of ? opponents.

Further, there are several 3-round games where ALL of his "?" opponents hand him the game by missing all their turns:
7921589
7986204
8091961
8155101
7750671
8339772
8198566
7740031
7739034
8339772
8195711
7739004-although this one looks like one of the "?"s accidentally clicked the "Start Turn" button and Driftwood had to wait an additional 3 rounds for the default win.

There are also numerous occasions when a 2nd (definitely real) player shows up and the extra ?s are all kicked out for missing turns.

This is definitely something hard to prove, especially as I am only a CC subscriber, but the activity does seem very suspicious. Mostly I just hate waiting for deadbeats to clear out whether they are real or fake.

You might be right, I don't have the energy to look into it more closely. But at a quick glance I can tell you that the games you talk about are (4-5 player standard games, 5-player standard games especially) are NR magnets, as this is the largest game type that shows up for them in game finder. The person your accusing seems to be throwing up varied game sizes at which point some 4-5 player games are filling with NR's.
ISo I'd say you are most likely incorrect, I doubt he's creating multies. If he was only making 5 player games that fill with NR's he could be accused of intentional farming, but he's not even doing that.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply Arama86n!

Yeah I agree, not something that really worth pursuing. But while I'm waiting for the likely deadbeat of 3 ?s, I figured I'd take a peek.

And, thanks for the rationale based on your analysis of game size. That helps put it in perspective.

Arama86n is correct about how the games fill up. Driftwood747 is CLEARED.
