Can your team prove to be the best of this tournament? Freemium Players are permitted but please have two slots reserved for the tournament.
The 32 teams will ranked by the teams total score and divided into 8 groups. The first round will be a round robin within the group where a win on both maps will get your team 3 points and a split will earn your team 1 point.
In the case of a tie we will look first at head to head competition then wins on the opponents maps. If there is still a tie then the teams will play a sudden death game on a random map with random settings
In the case of a 3 way tie, a 6p game will be played, with the winner becoming the winner of the group, the other two teams will then play a sudden death game on a random map with random settings
In the case of a 4 way tie ( ) an 8p game will be played, with the winner becoming the winner of the group, the other three teams will then play a 6p sudden death game on a random map with random settings
The top two teams in each division will advance and the teams will be playing in a bracket based on the team's group position. The teams will again play one game on each home map with the third game (if necessary) played with random settings on a random map
In the semi finals we will expand to a best of 5 playing two games on each home map with the fifth game played with random settings on a random map.
The finals will be a best of 7 playing three games on each home map with the seventh game played with random settings on a random map.
Edit : The next round of group stage games will not start until all matches in the previous round has finished, with the obvious exception of any round 2 games that are already underway, also I have removed the seedings for the bracket part of the tournament, as I think that a lower ranked team winning a group deserves an easier (on paper) game in the next round.

awesome, thanks for taking this tourney over also! me and bc have been trying to win a tournament usually making it at least to the quarterfinals or semi's and once to the finals, but have not been able to seal the deal, hoping that happens here

unfortunatly, due to unforseen circumstances, the tournament will be on pause until the 2nd of feb, so plenty of time to plan those winning strategies. Remember the final is best of 7 playing three games on each home map with the seventh game played with random settings on a random map.
