NedFlanders and mbohn2 [blocked from playing together]

Postby Phx99 on Wed Jun 14, 2006 12:40 pm

These are suspected Multis

Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=32960

Comments: these guys have very little time between their turns, and when asked about it, are cursing, and getting very defensive.

Can someone look at this please? If I'm wrong, I sincerly apologize. It just sounds fishy. That little time between their turns is bringing up a red flag...the most is 5 minutes.

The chat pretty much says it all. Game 32960

thank you

Thanks for posting this phx...also, ned has ONLY played with mbohn and their turns immediately follow each other in all their games....maybe a false alarm, but my vote is multi......

Guys, I'm not saying they're not multi's, but playing a few seconds to a few minutes behind your partner is the norm if you're coordinating your turns. My partners and I usually chat via IM before taking turns and our turns usually end up finishing/starting pretty closely together.

I understand that too....but the fact that they are ALWAYS on at the same time is funny. If it's wrong, I will apologize. I would like someone to look into it though...especially since Kool noticed the 2 always play together..

i owuld think if they r not multis, they would both oppose being multis, but only one does..very weird.
you do have a point though, i do chat with my friends through IM and if they r online, i usually tell them the turn has started, espicially if i am a team with them ;)

when two teammates are working together, and taking turns one after the other, which many obviously do, they will both be listed as "online" in the bottom of the forum main screen; the three or four times I have looked while one is taking their turn, the other is NOT online, ie, only one is on at a time.

Now this could mean that two friends are using the same computer, but ol Ned indicated he was sneaking his play in at work, so that axes that.

We shall see.....it will take the twillinator to decide...if I / we are wrong, I apologize (but my grievance remains as it is the only "ignore" option we currently have, and he should not have cursed at my delicate, lady partner!).

too true.

And who are you calling "delicate" Kool? lol I wanted to thank you as well for standing up for me. There was no reason for the name calling, and it was nice to have you "covering my back" as it were.

I'm going to hazard that ned was a multi of mbohn2 but seems to have become inactive. I am blocking the two from playing together just to be sure tho, so regardless, no more possibility cheating for them, they can take that up with me at a later date if they wish.
