UpdateThe battle over the king's lands has gone on for close to 2 years till now. After discussion with the remaining lords contesting for the land, the lords have agreed to put this squabble to an earlier end.
The lords will meet on a separate battlefield, waging mass battles on the Borders (
Feudal War), Castles (
Seige!), and Courts (
Draknor - Level 1) in succession. They will be supported by the armies from the fiefs they have conquered so far, with each fief contributing 1 army.
The first 2 lords to be eliminated from the game will have suffered huge losses, and lose 1 army each. The lord that wins the game will also earn extra resources for the next round, which will allow him to recooperate if he happens to be one of the first 2 lords to be eliminated in the next battle, and prevent him from losing armies.
When a lord has no more supporting armies, he will surrender his fiefs and flee the country, and the remaining lords will continue the mass battles with 1 less lord.
To avoid stalemates, battles will have escalating spoils for 6-player to 3-player battles. Once there are 2 lords left, spoils will be reverted to flat rate. Also, when there are 3 or less lords left, only the first lord to be eliminated will lose an army.
