another dumb ass tourney that ends in a one game final on a big map where whoever goes first wins--why have 2of3 the whole way to end in a one game final

Really stupid way to end a decent tourney

Well the rules were set up before you joined...if you don't like them don't join!

The rules were not very clear to begin with. Even my opponent (who deserves the victory and I am not taking away from her victory) thought it was a 2of3 final. Maybe you should be a little more clear when you set up a tourney. It was evidently unclear when as I had to ask before I joined how many games and like I said my opponent thought it was 2of3 as well. So please get off your high horse telling me if I don't like the rules don't play.

Maybe you should sit back and think about a better way to run your tourneys. It makes no sends to have a tourney where 2of3 games are played in the first three rounds leading up to a one game final on a big map where the player who goes first will win a high percentage of the time. It cheapens what was a decent tourney. Just some things to think about. You do what you want.

You ran a good tourney--I am just trying to give a suggestion on ending it in a better way for next time. I get a little or a lot pissy when getting to a finals and having no chance to win it. Not that I would have won if it was 2of3 but with all round 2of3 leading up to a one game final--just don't understand the reasoning.

Well you are entitled to your opinion, if you and your opponent want to do best of 3 I am willing to make two more games for it, but just because you don't agree with the way its ran doesn't mean you have to be all pissy about it. I try to have a little variety in my tourneys and do different things from the norm to keep it fresh. I did notice I did not make it as clear as it could of been in the original post so I apologize for that, I fixed it. Next time you have a problem with it instead of trashing me on the forums pm me and we can work it out.

Game 8464820 is finished.

As I posted in the chat there, I did mis-read the rules, but I still enjoyed the tournament overall. Plus this gives me my first tournament win, so I'm happy about that too!
