HMS

Postby theBastard on Tue Dec 21, 2010 1:21 pm

there are some guys who do maps based on history. there are also some guys who supported historical maps. my idea is to found something as Social Group or Party of guys which like historical maps, do historical maps, play historical maps, help with historical maps.

HMS - Historic Map Society...?

in this group could guys work together on maps and if somebody starts work on map and he ends without final product, the society could finished his map...

I thought for sure that this thread was about Her Majesty's Ship :P

I'm down for joining up. Some added criticism to the historicity of maps would also be of help.

History map callouts?

Group projects?

Ooooo, count me in. 'Society' is a good part of the name, whichever name you choose should have that in it. Very old-world sound to it. Like, say, "The Explorer's Society", etc.

It's bastards idea and I'm happy to play second fiddle. Though really... we got four people, we ought to playing some quads games on historical maps. Or at least some team games.

If it means quads games on some historical maps, I'll be adding me two cents. And I comment on whatever map strikes my fancy, though the chronic lack of say Civil War and WWI maps makes me sad.

Even if I don't make maps anymore nor roam these parts like I used to, I'd still love to be a part of this to look around and drop a line.

Well I do have an idea for an alternate history map, but I'll wait until later if we get a Conquerors Historical Society user group up and running. ;)

I guess I'll pick up the reigns and attempt to form a user group. But what should we call it?? I kinda like my idea "Conquerors Historical Society". We will need to know what we are about and what we do.
