Looking for about 100 players, in multiples of 5 (Tournament will run with 20, 25, or 30 players etc. with an upper limit of 100) All settings are Automatic,Sequential, Soviet Union, Terminator, Escalating, Fog. Sign ups open for about 2-3 weeks.
Players who sign up will be randomly assigned a role, either a Vampire (V), a Werewolf (W) or a Human (H) and then randomly inserted into the games.
Population: About 40% Vampires (can kill and be killed) About 40% Werewolves (can kill and be killed) About 20% Humans (can be infected and can kill humans)
Rules of engagement: Do not reveal your kind Vampires kill Werewolves, but not other Vampires Vampires infect Humans to become Vampires in the next round Werewolves kill Vampires, but not other Werewolves Werewolves infect Humans to become Werewolves in the next round Humans can kill humans, although they are not likely to meet
Round 1 will see 5 players (2V, 2W, and 1H) battle it out on Soviet Union, Terminator, Esc, Fog. You will advance if you win the game or started the round as a Human. All others will move on as long as they have not been killed. This means anywhere from 2-5 players will advance, depending on who eliminated you.
Subsequent rounds will redistribute the remaining players as evenly as possible, by design and then by random drawing into the template that will work for that round. Games will target 5 players, but may range from 2 to 6.
The total number of rounds is estimated to be Entrants / 5 Example 20 players = 4 rounds, 25 = 5 rounds 100 = 20 rounds and so on. There could be more or less rounds depending on the game outcomes.
Final Round: Once all of one race (V or W) is eliminated, all Humans become the remaining race. Humans will eventually become the remaining race as they canāt kill, so we will not play out those games just to make sure it happens. (Redundant). The final battle will be to see who is the Vampire King or the Werewolf Pack Leader, and is thus declared the winner.
So, let's say hypothetically, if a human was to terminate all other players in a 5 player game in round 1, then all 5 players advance keeping their original starting race?
I swear, every time I come up with a cool tourney concept, someone implements while I'm hammering out details in my head. I was trying to design my own zombie terminator tourney with the same type of rules. Needless to say, I love the concept.
in please
Edit: Now I see that this tourney was first run over a year ago, and just feel dumb. I'm still in.
