I'd like to bring in something Trap said a few pages ago:

(3) Post-Cort decision
Sure there is baiting and flaming in parts, but if you wanted to ignore the infraction and focus on our behavior, the relevant time period is (2). If you review it, you'll be hard pressed to find any flaming. What you will find is chipv taking a shot at COF and niMic demanding some sort of obedience and groveling from TOFU members. It is obvious I am one of the members of TOFU many in Cort dislike, but the behavior of many Cow-ards of the Round Table following Chuck's post was atrocious. For the majority of the challenge, outside of Josko's post regarding games won and points taken, any victory or defeat has been extremely humble. But, with our collective lives in your hooves, not all (!) but enough began to gloat and savor the moment. It's was absolutely sickening - I'd rather taken the 21 game penalty instantly then beg and plead for your acceptance. If you forgot, COF already made a quite commendable post regarding the mistake, but for some, it wasn't enough - they took earlier grudges and attempted to leverage others into subservient positions. People may call you cowards and spineless for the 21 game result, but the ugliest behavior came earlier when you had a position of power. And the troubling thing is, Cort has acted this way before, quite recently even, in the Empire challenge - you seize any slight advantage and your muzzle comes off and you feel empowered to have free reign.
So, in summary, I have enjoyed playing and meeting some of you. Those who come to mind are Stunna, Foxglove, and Thebest (who does not speak German). While others, Josko, Chip, Nimic, I hope I never have the displeasure of meeting you again.
[Thank] you
I went back and re-read all that happened "Post-Chuck Post, but Pre-Cort Decision"
From page 40 to 44, TOFU was as courteous as could be expected in that situation. They weren't groveling and asking for forgiveness, but they weren't rude, either. Yes, many of them mentioned what TOFU would have done if they had been in KoRT's situation, but is that so wrong?
It is of note that there were a few rude comments in those pages, but all of them came from non-TOFU sources, and for the most part, those pages were rather calm.
On page 45, you'll see the posts that set it all off.
chipv wrote:It's 100% bullsh*t that a decision even needs to be made here, a lot of us have worked hard on these games and don't
want to see the challenge end on a technicality. However the same cannot be said about TOFU who tried to pursue a player forfeit claim
themselves - don't try and take the higher ground, CoF, some of you have behaved disgracefully and don't deserve a second chance but
hopefully we won't stoop to your levels.
Here, Chipv was out of line. It is obvious that his experiences "Pre-Chuck Post" influence his post here, because there is nothing he could have seen "Post-Chuck Post" that could have caused him to say this.
And right here, with very little promting from CoF, NiMic posts this:
niMic wrote:Chariot of Fire wrote:Whilst I wasn't the one who lodged the complaint, I did however support it. It wasn't a hard decision when you consider the events that prompted it (to have a script, known only to yourselves, that puts "josko for xxxxxx" every time a turn is played....well what reaction did you try to get or expect?).
What did we expect? Considering the fact that you guys had complained about josko sitting earlier in the challenge, and considering that no one in their right mind could
possibly think josko was
really taking all the turns, we expected most of you to go, "hehe, I see what you did there". We expected you to get the joke, for the most part. We certainly didn't expect half your clan to scream bloody murder to the authorities.
And I don't regret it. I don't think, as everyone seems to make it out, that it was a bad judgment call, that it was in poor taste. I think it was a fairly amusing, lighthearted joke, which for some reason went straight over your heads.
I also find it amusing how your clan has seemingly decided to mention the joke and all its untimeliness on a near constant basis after this whole thing began, as if that it some kind of justification. Are you
trying to provoke us into demanding all the games? Is this some sort of martyr complex? I mean, it's unbelievable.
You are the ones that have made a mistake that could quite literally cost you the entire challenge. And yet you are the ones hanging around in the thread, seemingly making every effort to badmouth and ridicule us.
I know you've taken all the blame on yourself earlier, and that's certainly commendable, but that's not what you've shown lately. I probably shouldn't have posted this, but congratulations, you managed to provoke me into it. Well done.
By bringing up the issue of Josko's account-sitting, and the "Josko for xxxx" joke that was in poor taste (of which I know little, and will not delve into here), KoRT deliberately instigated a debate. You may review that debate on pages 45-46, but I do not believe TOFU was overly rude by any means.
And on page 46, you will find:
niMic wrote:Rub your noses in it? We were fully prepared and indeed on route to just giving you a very mild slap on the wrist, a "punishment" that no one on CC could call unjust with a straight face.
But, alas. You guys don't know when to stop, do you? And when I say you, I'm not speaking of TOFU as a clan, I'm speaking of the select few who could very well now be the cause of a lost challenge, with no one else to blame for it - though of course, they will anyway.
Well done. Well done indeed. And yes, I am absolutely rubbing your nose in it. At this point, I simply couldn't care less of what you think of me.
On page 47, you will find the announcement of KoRT's decision.
It is obvious to me that TOFU was very courteous from pages 40-44, and when a debate was rudely instigated by KoRT on page 45, TOFU responded in kind.
TOFU handled most of this (Post-Chuck Post) with the utmost class, and KoRT... well, did not.
For KoRT to have let the debate on page 45-46 influence their decision is truly unfathomable.
The relations between KoRT and TOFU should not have influenced this decision. This should have been an objective decision; one that is made regardless of feelings.
In the end, it appears that it was also something that should not have been settled democratically. The leadership of KoRT should have seen that their clan could not make an objective decision, and made the correct decision themselves.
This was a decision that KoRT should never have come to. I really don't see how
any clan could have reached this verdict, and I imagine that very, very few others would.
I realize that there are a few assholes in most clans, and KoRT is no exception. But those assholes should be in the minority. How is it that the majority of a clan can reach a decision that is so obviously the most detestable choice?
You've really shown us your true colors here, KoRT. Thanks for making it so blatantly obvious for the rest of us to realize that you no longer deserve our respect.
