timthetuneman intentional deadbeating[warned/vacation]es

Postby support81ghent on Tue Nov 02, 2010 11:57 am

Accused:

timthetuneman

The accused are suspected of:

Other: intentional deadbeating

Game number(s):

Game 7901671

Comments: first of all, YES I have missed 2 turns myself for which I excused myself and I didnt intentionally deadbeat ... had to take care of my little niece.
but as you can see in Game 7901671 he missed his turns at ??h30, ??h40 and ??h50 ... (the ?? are put because of the timedifferences.
as you can see in Game 7901674 , Game 7901670 he was still taking his turns after the above mentioned times ...

It is pretty lame of him, but its a speed game, you won, and you're premium so its not like deadbeating takes one of your 4 slots for 72 hours. I would just foe him and move on

Yeah, a FAMO seems appropriate. I think he should be at least warned, though.

to photohippie, im not posting this because hes one of the lamos taking up 1spot in my gameslist which is worth nothing because im a premium, im not posting this because i did win,
but im posting this because he deserves some kind of penalty ... he has around 12k games, he does this on purpose and he is rude ... he deserves the penalty + the bad reputation

I totally get what you're saying, and even if nothing is done I'm glad you posted this just for the simple fact that I've added him to my foes. So at least you're on the right track for giving him the bad reputation he deserves

meh. When i was prem and played speed games i had guys deadbeat all the time when they "thought" the game was not savable, mostly because they had 20 other speed games going on at the same time and did them no good to take their turns / waste their time playing a game they already lost... plus its speed, not like the turns are 24 hours.

Does not matter. Intentional Deadbeating is still against the rules. Players have been warned and given Website vacations because of this before.

If they were doing it often then OK, but if its just a game or 2 i don't think they would get anything. It didn't matter to ME when they deadbeat because i got points either way. But i can see why some wouldn't care for it (speed games that is)... if it was RT games or just standard 24 hours i wouldn't like it now that i am freemium.

like I said before, I did win, I gotten the points, it didnt take up necessary place, i won with my eyes closed, but its just the fact of him intentional deadbeating ... and if you cant take your turns fast enough, dont join/make so many speeds?
to me, its just the fact of him intentional deadbeating because he couldnt win easily ... the game wasnt lost yet .. it was hard, but the win was probably his if he didnt deadbeat on purpose. and ive checked a few more of his games... it wasnt the first time

I just see a warning in order, nothing more than that. As far as I know, timthetuneman has been pretty self-conscious of his record before, so this is new to me.
