Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 7742605

Comments:

by Mc Lor (on Alexinho's wall)
on Mon Oct 04, 2010 5:23 am Peace. Red is the most dangerous

by Alexinho (on Mc Lor's wall)
on Mon Oct 04, 2010 5:23 am ok

they didn't truce in the game chat, only through wall messages. they have played like 42 games together, often as team-mates. or in 3 player games. this probably isnt the only time but its all i found so far

edit - i took screen shots and will post them later. funny that alexinho deleted mc lors post on his wall even though he thinks its ok to conspire via wall messages.

I can only say: LOL!

I've played a lot of games with McLor, Eddie, Memarrow in AOR2 and we never had a problem and are all friends.

I think that wall is open so I don't see the problem, McLor writed on my wall when game was yet over... (as you can see eddie2 won it.)

game log also shows the message at the exact same time as well so was there another post that says good morning from mc lor because we ussually wall or pm saying morning 2 each other.

ok see you have changed the first post 2 say about the messages being deleted i have spoke with alexinho about this his english is not very good but i no alexinho very well in games and even signed him up to the clan he did not cheat. I told him 2 delete the messages. also if they were doing secret diplomacy there would be a lot more comments than 1 with the amount of games we play.

plenty of people have been banned from playing each other because of wall messages.
Rule #2: No secret diplomacy
Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults.

and if its ok why did u delete the post? (i took a screen shot before u deleted it btw and will post it later) and is it ok for u guys to have secret diplomacy because u are friends? how can anyone expect to get a fair game if more than 1 of u are in the game? if it is no big deal then why not post it in the game for all u friends to read?

camel read the game log before you make posts the first attack was at this point. omg look it was a whole 5 minites before i attacked any body

2010-10-04 10:27:24 - eddie2 assaulted Aosa from Sler and conquered it from Memarrow

so they conspired 2 truce against me before i even attacked a player hummmmmm sounds a bit odd considering i dont win all the games we play.

lol dont you understand i was no threat at that point in the game so maybe it was just 2 players not very good at english that has been miss read. because i know alex well and no he wont cheat. unlike some that i can say .

if they werent doing anything wrong then why tell him to delete the messages?

eddie2 wrote:maybe it was just 2 players not very good at english that has been miss read

so now its not that alexinho doesnt think he did anything wrong because youre all friends, or that you say u werent a threat when they made the wall truce, or that the message was 'supposedly' sent after the game ended....now its that they dont know how to speak english?

well that makes perfect sence. thanks for clearing this all up for me!

Eddie, at the moment they posted, you already got +10 for the 2nd time. For me that makes it very clear that you where the strongest on the map. You don't need to see a stack to know that, just read the logs.

Dont know why they didn't post that in chat instead of walling eachother.

My turn:

First - Apologies if to talk on the wall is secret diplomacy. But I still disagree because walls are open to everybody.

Second - When McLor writed on my wall, I had already decided to not attack him, as game was really onesided. (eddie was in lead and was the winner of the game).

Third - Not sure, but I have to be one of the CC players that has played more times on AOR2, as a lot of people can tell that, And I know really well when a player will win or no this game, and I don't need to write or to read to make truces or not.

Fourth and last - I don't remember at what point of the game I answered the message in the wall, but My message in McLor wall, was not an OK like "OK, we make a truce" but like "of course, as this game is yet over"

writing on the wall is wrong because the other players do not know they have to look there before they take each turn. keep it ingame and there's no allegation of secret diplomacy.

i have played you many times on AoR2 and i am sure you know when someone (me) is going to win. for the rest of you it is when he sees i have joined his game ;)

First - Secret Diplomacy is strictly against the rules whether you agree or not. I bet this is not the 1st time for ya either.

Second - Doesn't matter who won. Cheating is cheating whether your successful at it or not.

Third - FOED X 2

Fourth - Eddie. I bet if it were I or someone not in TIME you would have an entirely different view (the correct one) in re of this.

I wonder why. Perhaps cuz you know its CHEATING and your trying to protect them. :-^

2 pages of debate? Really? This is an open-and-shut case of secret diplomacy. Slap them on the wrists and move on.

Really? Eddie this thread is not about me. Yet here you are off topic and trying to bait me...

Regardless of what whoever would have done anyway is not an issue. They communicated via the wall. I bet it is not the 1st time either.

ok so this looks like the problem is mc lor not alexinho. like i said alexinho did not make any moves that made it look like i was facing 2 v 1. so can we honestly say that alexinho was cheating no we can not and i think i was in the best position 2 tell since any unofficial truce in the game that was aimed against myself i would of known about it.

Of course I haven't cheated in this game and I never did it and will never do it. I have to find that game, but even in a 3 player game, one of the players did a really stange think, stoped to attack me and only attacked the other player, like we had a secret truce, and after this player was killed, even with me having a huge advantage, I did not attack and let the other player win, only because it was not fair.
