I've checked this game out and it does seem like they deliberately protected each other without any in-game chat or alliance/treaty to speak of. Also, they attacked each other only once the entire game until it was time for yellow to take green out (and get his set). Very suspicious. This is probably one to look into.

So you dont need to worry about them being in a secret alliance.
