Thanks for running a real smooth and enjoyable tournament! I like being able to easily follow what's going on in all the other games. I just wish I'd made it out of the first round in the TPA version of this tournament :'(

Me too, I think we lost over 40 players in just the first round. Some groups in the TPA one just got dominated by 2 players so it cut down on those moving ahead. I go back to school in a month so hopefully this will wrap up before then so that I just have the TPA one. You all are doing wonderfully.

Gypsys Kiss has one last chance to join the games sent before he's dropped, immunity and all.

If next round we have more than 8 players, groups will be broken up into smaller groups to suss out enough players. Once we're down to 8 we'll play the final set of games.

You can--it helps me to know if I need to update. I've been getting busier lately so any little bit is great.

I'm rubbing my hands together in an evil fashion...provided that certain players don't win a game, we could be playing the final round of games right after this one! Status has been updated with the latest. Keep up the good work.

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourselves; know that the only reason you've been going this long is because you final players are seriously tenacious. The final games will be sent out in batches, with you guys maintaining about the same amount throughout. There are 30 individual maps that were chosen(feel free to count and correct me). So this means that(knock on wood it happens :-$ ) the final players should get about 6 games to start and when any finish I'll send out enough to maintain that amount until you all finish up. The player with the most wins...well they win

Regarding the three AoR map games, I'll wait on this until the first 10 games are complete to get as many opinions as I can, then a decision will be made.

I would be in favour of dropping those maps, but I am biased because I am really shit on them. Seriously though, its up to the guys that chose those maps. If they want to keep them, then fine, then you'll have to go with the cut off, which is also fine. So basically I'm okay with whatever you decide.

I also agree that it has been a really good tournament...Thank you

Game 7682008 had an issue with a player eliminating the wrong target. I'm just wondering if it will stand as is or be replaced by a new game.

In this final round, points matter, so to be fair, that game will be totally replayed, as will any other games that should end the way. This is to ensure caution in your game play. You will be playing some tiny maps and so being able to maneuver is key as you skilled players know ;) New games sent so the total active should be 6.

hmm had a thought about this and not sure its a good rule to have in place as I can see the scenario that MGB is going to win a game and so I take out his target and force a replay of the map.... not that I would but does leave that opportunity open.

You could replay the game and leave the offending party out of it, counting it as a loss for them. This would obviously punish honest mistakes as well as intentional throws.

As has already been said by others, I trust the rest of the players not to throw games intentionally. I'm fine with replaying in this instance.

I tend to agree. If that rule is there, the temptation to 'accidentally' take someone elses target out will be there as well. I'm of the opinion that if you lose, you lose. No second chances, no replays. It didnt happen in the earlier rounds(at least not in the groups I was in), and I dont believe it will start happening now.....but better that the temptation isnt there in the first place.

Now that it has happened once, everyone will be more careful(hopefully).

Aye, I can see the idea for replaying it but without me would be a more solid way of doing it. I feel bloody stupid for what happened and are happy to sit in the dunce chair while you guys cover up my mistake.
