Add in the fact that formal Confederate and Union armies invaded and fought in the state from 1860-1861 and again in 1864, and I think there's the makings of a good map. Missouri, like Kentucky, fought sort of a mini-civil war, except that Missouri's really began on its western border six years before the general "Late Unpleasantness".

2)Maybe a city map, something like New York / London / Stockholm, a traditional style map, but in the shape and form of a real city as oppose to a country or region, i know there is a city map, but it is fictional, so what about a real city map?

I've been toying with the idea of trying to create a London map.
I saw a central London map discussed somewhere on here with talk of the tube and parks as additional territories, but don't think it ever got developed.
I'd like to try a Greater London map using the suburbs as well to make it bigger but traditional.
I've never done one before but guess I've got to start somewhere!

Sounds good to me, i was going to suggest the tube as i was reading that, but you already got that mentioned. I wouldn't mind starting making maps either, but could do with a crash course in graphic design first
