Would it be possible to create a setting to automatically collapse/expand all medals rather than having to hide them individually every time you redirect the page?

I looked through the "Help/Info" tab and didn't find a way to do this, sorry if I missed it.

On the left side you have a BOB menu, click the Site Options, and turn Small avatars on (by clicking on that option). That should do the trick.

Ha hm... I'm guessing this is just me & my ancient dying bug-infested laptop but in case there might be an easy fix...
Recently uninstalled bob & re-installed - bob is showing up as installed & enabled in the tools/greasemonkey/user scripts box... but there's no bob menu appearing for me in games or on my games page. All my other scripts are working fine & I've done successful updates lately.
Ha hmmmmm.

Does the bob menu show on the forums tho?
If so, it's possible that Hide Menu: 'Game' is enabled

Ok, got no other clue for it then.
Also:
17 / 14 (33%)*** 45.67 0 (4 + 2 + 0) = 6 0 0 The MIDLANDS (Any 7) (2)
17 / 14 (33%)*** ...
I'm (still) getting these error on the England map. It's the first turn, and theres no fog, so I don't see why bob would give me this error. (there should be 17 regions for 1v1 I think)

And then also, another mini-error on Monsters. For me, it doesn't show, when hovering on on of the powerstones, that, it can attack the appropriate lightning spell. (It tells underneath the map that the lightning bolt can be attacked, but doesn't show the square with the right side open when hovering.) (I can get you a screen as well, tho the games still ongoing, so I'm a bit wary of showing sensitive information...o.o 8-[ )
Similar thing on gazala when hovering over points - 'attacked by' is showing 'bombards' symbol.
These are just small niggly things, so I doubt they really matter much, just thought I'd mention them

Hmm, hadn't noticed the England flaw before, I think I know what's going on and I'll fix it. The second one I knew about, but attacked by/bombards is kind of a hard one.

No, I don't think so. I know of one person who had over 200, I never get over 10 myself.

I have reachen to 264 (or maybe even more) and didn't have any problem.... I suppose the limit is the space you can have in your computer

Pretty weird then. I was(/am) playing a 10-12 games 1v1 series against someone, all foggy games, so I snapped all the initial rounds (1/2). It's round 3/4 now, and I can't see any of the older ones. I still have snaps in other games so I don't think I can have 'deleted all' :?

Hello whom ever deals with people like me.

I have an issue.
It seems that when ever I join certain games (for now just games on Route 66) I encounter a large grey box with the text "Processing Log" on the screen.

I'm using chromium and have B.O.B. v 5.0.5
Does anyone know my issue?

On some maps it takes some time for BOB to process what's going on and update all the bells and whistles with the corresponding information. I don't know if this is true, but I believe the more complicated the map the longer it might take. It also might just be your internet connection. I see it all the time and the stuff still works fine for me so don't worry.

trapyoung is right. It's only an issue if the "Processing Log" phase never seems to end.

Retrieving the full log from the server is the slowest on most computers now, so log length is quite relevant. Complicatedness of the map could be a smaller factor too. But yeah, as long as it shows up correctly and doesn't take too long, it's not a problem (intended even).

How to remove "Objective Summary"?

Postby Angus Khan on Mon Aug 30, 2010 1:44 pm

I've been using BOB forever now, and noticed that "objective summary" is showing up on some games. I don't need the summary, and was wondering how to make it go away. There doesn't seem to be a direct or indirect method. I've done forum searches on the term and the answers seem to indicate BOB is doing it, it shows to the right of the map and messes up formatting on my screen because it can get so long.

Thanks :!:

It's been in BOB for a few months, but some change made it much more obvious today. 5.0.6 brings it back to its usual size, and I'll create an option to stop it from showing in the next update.

I don't really know javascript, but I think the problem with the elimination summary after loading the full log could be fixed if, when the user clicks "[load full log]", BOB would call processLog() with the init flag set to true, so the data already processed would be dropped in favour of the reload. I'm just not sure how you know when this action should occur.

Using BOB on Chrome

Whenever I try to enter a game a message pops up "Processing Log" and it doesnt load
This makes it impossible to play games

It works fine with BOB disabled so I know that it is a problem with BOB

Make sure you have the current version of BOB, and if Greasemonkey is involved with Chrome, make sure it is up-to-date as well.

Re: BOB 5.0.6: using the new colours in a battle royale

Postby ender516 on Thu Sep 02, 2010 10:44 pm

The Volunteer Appreciation Day Battle Royale game uses many colours not normally seen for the players beyond the first eight. Could this script be updated to use these colours in its Statistics table?

Hmm, interesting question. The problem is that the colors aren't set in stone, the next time you reload it will display the colors quite differently. I could read them in case of 9+ players (a battle royale). But it's a rare occurrence..

I hadn't noticed that the colours were changing with each load, since I managed to squeak in as player 8. Well, then, you might as well generate number colours for players 9 and beyond as well, and use them throughout.
