For this I need 16 trips teams. You can sign up as an individual( or a dubs team) but will automatically be paired with other people to fill out your team. This tourney will be for Premiums only.
The bracket will be generated using Random.org. Each round will be of a different structure, please see below.
Please list your team's "home" maps and settings, though all games will be Automatic & Sequential.
Examples per round "Team 1" vs "Team 2" (A, B, C vs D, E, F). Loser per round is eliminated.
First round 3 v 3 (A, B, C vs D, E, F), best of 3. Each team map/settings & 1 random map/settings.
Second round 2 v 2 (A, B vs D, E) / (A, C vs D, F) / (B, C vs E, F). Each matchup will be best of 3, with each team map/settings & 1 random map/settings. Best 2 out of three player matchups moves on.
Third round 1 v 1 (A vs D) (A v E) (A v F) (B v D) (B v E) (B v F) (C v D) (C v E) (C v F). Team with 5 of 9 wins moves on. Player in red gets home map. If no player is in red, random map/settings are applied for that matchup.
Fourth round - Championship Round - This will consist of three segments, whichever team wins 2 of 3 segments will be crowned champion. 1st segment will be same format as 1st round. 2nd segment will be same format as 2nd round. 3rd segment will be same format as 3rd round. I will probably send invites for 1 segment at a time though.
Random maps will be chosen from standard maps like Classic, World 2.1, Tamriel, Midgard, etc... If you would like a further breakdown please let me know.
