I didn´t have enough time to complete the game so I gave him my password so he could finish it, which he did. I gave him my password because I had played several times before wit h him and he looked like a decent guy.
Well, I was completely wrong. Last night, UK time, he logged in again using my account without my permission, and he opened 19! individidual classic games for two players (him and me) without my permission (I was sleeping by them) and played them. He was effectively controlling both his account and mine. Well, he was so stupid that he didn´t make any movement with my account, except with the first one. Thinking that he was acting with total impunity, he stopped doing any movement, so in the rest of the games, I "quitted" in all of them. The funny thing is that despite I was not doing any movement, I kept "joining" game after game that Shank1970 proposed.
Just imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning! I felt furious and betrayed, and stolen! 190 points stole me!
I hope CC can solve this problem very soon, which can be easily checked in my Games Played list, because what he did is extremely serious. Not only he stole my account and stole my points, but also broke the trust bond between players. I think this kind of behaviour should be severely punished. Needless to say, I will change my password right now.
In the meantime, beware SHANK1970 as he is an identity THIEF.
Good to see the warning, but frankly...you have reaped what you have sown. To give someone your password temporarily is fine, but to be so stupid as to not change it after the fact is...inexcusable.
Youre blaming him for some guy stealing his points. And you go on to call him stupid? Youre in self destruct mode man. Your posts are spiraling down some ridiculous path of fury for some reason. Perhaps its time to take a break from here. Seriously.
1) First of all, I'm not blaming Matt at all for Shank stealing his points.
2) Yes, I DO go on to say that he's stupid to have not changed his password back.
3) "Spiraling down some ridiculous path of fury"? Perhaps you missed the part where I explicitly stated that Matt may very well be innocent but that I felt that the situation needed to be looked at from the perspective that he wasn't, because by doing so, the proof would be revealed. If one presumes that he is completely innocent, then the evidence may not be seriously looked at.
AAFitz wrote:All matt is guilty here is trusting someone on CC.
Possibly, certainly. As I quite clearly stated myself. But it's certainly not a given.
AAFitz wrote:And in the end, the guy he trusted was only ever joking around, not realizing the implications of the point stealing/dumping because he didnt take the game seriously.
Says...the guy stealing the points. Certainly a credible source.

The absolute best part of this thread is watching people not bothering to read what is written but being perfectly willing to make ignorant statements.
AAFitz wrote:Woodruffs post about him being stupid for not changing his password, being the cherry on this ridiculous cupcake.
You believe it's ridiculous to think that his not changing his password is stupid? You believe that not changing his password would be a smart move to make?

Some people here talk too much too soon. Big mouths, who should wait to know all the facts before giving an opinion!!!
You don't appear to have read what is written here very well, to have taken this opinion. I recognize that English doesn't appear to be your primary language, but I and everyone else here actually seems to have gone out of their way to make the point that you're not necessarily guilty of anything. Geez.
Unless, of course, you're whining about being called stupid for not changing your password. If that's the case, then tough shit...it was stupid.
Excusatio non petita, accusatio manifesta
"He who excuses himself, accuses himself"? You're trying to prove that you don't have the foggiest idea of what I'm talking about? Well then...well done!
What is it that youre trying to prove...all he did was post what happened, youre the one going out of your way to ridcule him for it, when it didnt involve you at all.
I didn't at all "go out of my way to ridicule Matt". I don't believe I ridiculed him at all.
AAFitz wrote:Ignore these rants matt....your situation is obvious, and Id have probably trusted the guy myself.
The situation is only "obvious" if you choose to make presumptions. Hopefully, the multi-hunters won't make those same presumptions, so that they can rule on the situation accurately.
