I was just looking through my old games and I stumbled upon a comment made by someone who noted that weamdabest and I have been accused of cheating in the forum, so I looked up this thread and I have the following to say in our defence:
Regarding game 1789, the Neutral user was created so that two-player games would be possible in the same fashion as the Risk board game, that is to say with neutral armies, hence the name. You'll notice that the Neutral account surrendered on its first turn. As for name confusion, I had logged in both accounts at once without realizing that the login cookie only allowed for one user account per browser, so I was checking which account I was presently in. However, you'll also notice that after the 'surrender' option was removed from the game, the Neutral account became useless and so it is no longer used.
As for 4847, I maintain that weamdabest and Leopold are separate entities on the very legitimate grounds that we are. You can check the IPs if you must. Also, what does it matter if we play together often? Weamdabest, Dairalir, intox, and myself all joined at around the same time because we all wanted to play the game together. I see no reason why this should be cause for suspicion.
In closing, I am truly sorry that we led you to believe that we were cheating, but I assure you that you have made a mistake.
Thank you,
Leopold
