I have no troop numbers! Yet when i scroll over territories, BOB still tells me the usual info. I also have Map Rank and Assault Odds installed. Firefox is up to date.

Snapshots don't work anymore, they seemed to work fine as late as yesterday.

Don't load... the shots appear in the little bob menu, but when I click on one, nothing happens.

i took a snapshot at the beginning of my turn. took the turn and things changed. clicked on the snapshot, and the screen did nothing (stayed with current numbers) then i took another snapshot after the turn. clicking back and forth had no effect on the map display.

then i clicked on an old snapshot from Round 1 and the map stayed the same. BUT, the statistics numbers did change... Just FYI.

Well, it did work for a while but yesterday's change included a small change that broke it again... I've updated it now (so if you reinstall you'll have a working version), but gonna try to iron out some other things before I increase the version number again.

How about you add a hotkey for taking snapshot? alt+a or alt+n (s is taken by mozilla) or something like that. Would be great to have.

Does anyone else enter a game and receive the "Initializing BOB" message indefinitely? It makes the page unusable. This has been going on for a few days, now.

edit: Got it! Thanks to Dako and chuck_thunder.

Since i updated about a week ago snapshots are not working properly. There seems to be a few issues:

- sometimes snapshots appear to save, but when i go back to the game they don't exist anymore (as if i never took them).
- sometimes they save, but when i try to view them the numbers seem correct, but the colours are incorrect (mainly red when they shouldn't be).
- when i try to view the latest snapshots they all appear as the current game situation, and not as they were when they were saved.

I've updated 3 times the last week, and the problems arose from the first update. The order i've listed these bugs in is the order in which i noticed them. Hope this helps.

Let's see.. The old way was to save the image along with some numbers to build up the stats, and show the image when someone wanted to see a snapshot.
With lack's update there is no image any more.. I think the old method would have failed then..

reinstalled 5.0.3 (since you made some mods without indexing the version number, right?) and the snapshots seem to be working.

minor request... when viewing a snapshot, the color codes do not show up. could we retain them for those of us who use them?

Idk why, but:
'g:Leehar 0 Bonus Cards0 0 (0) 30 ( 34% ) 10 / 15 (48%)*'

Thats what it's telling me.. When I only have the 10 territories anyway...

When I enter a game, and have the map set to 40% opacity, it doesn't take effect without modifying the opacity.

Re: BOB 5.0.3 broken snapshots

Postby Angus Khan on Sun Jun 20, 2010 7:35 pm

My snapshots were broken (discovered in a critical game of course) and had to lose out before I could come here and read the forum. Figured out that if I just clicked on the "Latest Version" at the bottom of BOB, it would reload the code for me. That fixed it (not sure, but maybe Sherk snuck in a slipstream upgrade?)

Give it a try.

I have noticed this, but I think the selected opacity takes effect once you begin your turn. Still, it should happen when you enter the game. I think there are similar issues with the circle whiteness feature.
