Umfolds remarks aside, you did bait and egg him on initially alot, in quite a condescending tone. He was very civil till you pushed him over the edge. Now you both lose and you make a report about him. This report borders on the vindictive.

I acknowledged the disagreement. I am not without fault. I took the bait. However, I would like to know exactly when the language that umfold used is acceptable. The answer to that questions, is "never". My jabs never entered the personal arena, and I ceased conversation when the hate speech became prevolent.

As for the vindictive accusation, I can assure you that has no merit. I play this game for fun during my spare time, and losses do not affect me personally at all. I certainly play the games to win the games, but if I were to lose every game I played (fair losses of course), my life would not be affected in a negative way.

If there are no reprecussions for this hate speech, then this website will lose a paying customer.

While I agree to the offensiveness of his chat, what you have quoted is from the forum and PM/Wall rules. Game chat is usually a different animal, and it is judged leniently. Also, (again I'm just stating past precedent, not my views), there is some discussion as to what constitutes homophobia (in this context persecuting a gay individual) and the use of the type of language umfold employed in your chat log flame war.

i guess we'll see how the mods shake it out.
