to make matters worse, David even responded to this thread of his abuse and knowingly continues to abuse the low ranks with his invites.

this report is of abuse, not farming

next, he claims he is helping them with their game play. Why does he not use neutral maps and game settings? Why freestyle and Waterloo ? If he really wanted to help them he would atleast give suggestions during the game in what to do. Not false information to steer his opponents into thinking they did a "good job ".

Well. I haven't heard anyone saying that DH is rude or tricks someone into private game (e.g. through a fake link). Playing private games are perfectly fine. PM/inviting players to a game is perfectly fine. Playing non-?s are perfectly fine. If DH sees no enjoyment in playing other types of games, well, it's his thrill. If he grabs the Conqueror title you'll get the opportunity to thrash him for not being the "best" player on the site, but until then I see no abuse.

Ok, it's obvious that in this case DH's actions are sort of icky, but here is the important thing to consider:

How would a rule against this behavior be defined, to keep it as non-subjective as possible?

Remember all the early farming threads, and all the fucking "ratings abuse" threads? as soon as someone gets punished for something like this, everybody and their dog is going to be accusing everyone else of violations that are going to range from similar to totally ridiculous ("KH is inviting new leuts to freestyle and is totally crushing them! wah wah!")

So, the only way to appropriately punish DH is to first agree on a solid RULE that can be recognized and enforced with limited to no subjectivity. The farming rule now barely works.

If we can't than this needs to be closed, as DH is within the rules, no matter how sketchy we think his playstyle is.

I already pointed out and proved that he is not helpful and helping players out with the examples I have already provided. He gives no suggestions in game chat and in fact gives false information and hope to the players he "preys" upon. Again, this thread is not about farming but game invite abuse to obtain points. Im assuming with all your spelling errors that you really are 11 and since under the age of 18 you are responding as a minor and therefore have no idea what your applying. In fact, I would bet the farm that he PM'd you telling you to post in this thread on his behalf since you were the player I have selected to show everyone of his abuse.

again, after the game he will help them. He clearly states he has no idea what he is doing. Good thing he collected those points without an explanation. In fact the only help he offered was telling his opponent how to get rid of his armies faster so he could win. Geesh !

You know what I did after this? I saw him later in chat, I pm'd him an apology for being an ass in game chat, and admitted that it was MY OWN FAULT FOR PLAYING A GENERAL AT WATERLOO WITHOUT READING THE MAP. David and I are friends now. He has given me advice on many instances and I cannot think of a better way to lose 5 points. In the 3 days that followed he had taught me enough to launch my playing into the future. I am an eager learner with an excellent aptitude; that 5 points bought me 100 more. And it is still buying me more.

Here is my point, the people who WANT to play David over and over will, and there should be no restriction on them doing so. The people like me, who have had enough after the first time, will not play again. Although from time to time I joke with him about possibly doing a Waterloo FS...

Now let's remember, DH claims to have made friends with *netham* - but they have played another 14 games since his friend request a game on doodle - and guess what NONE have yet been on doodle

But of course the risk of him losing, is much too great for his ego! and of course the risk of loss of points!

With friends like him - who needs enemies?

But with the current 'multi' report filed against *netham* it doesn't look like he'll be around much longer so DH will have to befriend someone else who will gift him points from so many games.

Now there's an idea, is DH benefitting from thrown games with *netham* since all 19 games between them have gone to DH, whilst *netham* has a 27% win rate! so realistically out of 19 games even he should have managed 1 win....

Because that of course, is abuse.
