He's done about 15 of these, 'zonny! They are good little tournaments, best of 7 is a fun size matchup! And a 25% shot at a medal too.

Well, just had to check, maybe he made a typo and meant 16 teams
Little? Yes. Good? No. I know it's allowed but nevertheless I find this kind of format extremely lame as there's always interest in team tournaments and getting 8 teams to play wouldn't be hard.
Blitz, nope, not joining. Even if I did join new tournaments at this point then I don't think this format would be something I'd prefer to be part of. You do know that people's respect towards you will grow a lot more when you run fair and open to all tournaments?

this is just something different for a mini-series.

Yes, I know how many tournaments you have approximately ran, no idea though why you brought it up now. About your mini series. As danryan said, you have ran like 15 of this kind of tournaments before so it's nothing different or new. Therefore, once again I don't understand your statement.
Perhaps I should ask again - why won't you open it to 8 or even 16 quad teams? You think you won't fill them or that you aren't able to win your tournament any more?
Blitzaholic wrote:this is new and because they are beta maps is why it is a mini series and smaller, beta is new and not as popular.

I do hope you are man enough to give up your team's spot to Drew483's team because a decent tournament organiser would find a way to include players who are interested in joining.
