12 slots are reserved for the Quarter Finalists in the 2009 Marathon; the rest are all open, so please sign up below.
All games are 6-player, and points are awarded as follows: 8, 5, 3, 2, 1, 0. In most rounds, the top 4 players in each group are safely through to the next round, and a number of āhighest-scoring losersā will also go through.

Here are the details of the rounds:
As players get eliminated, they will be places on the Reservesā Leaderboard. If anyone drops out, the player at the top of the Reservesā Leaderboard will take their place.
Players will have 72 hours to join their games before they are replaced.
Foe lists will be ignored throughout the tournament; otherwise it will be too complicated.
Groups will be assigned using random.org, but players who win groups will be kept apart as much as possible. For example, in Round 2, the 24 group winners from Round 1 will be spread across the 22 groups as evenly as possible, but within these restrictions all assignments are random.
All points are cumulative; the player with the most points after their 106 games will be crowned the winner!
