It is acceptable in context to some people, and not others. I just played Modern Warfare last night with one of my friends, who uses the N-word when referring to me a lot, in a completely friendly tone (and yes, he happens to be black).

If you want a more up to date song, try Go To Church by Ice Cube. Some people say it a lot and it's not offensive at all. Some people are also offended by it easily, but it's just a word. It means almost nothing.

Not at the time no, I have now decided that I take massive offence to the term though, and after king sam's clarification of the rules, I believe it should be an open and shut case with a firm punishment.

Just checking whether it was punished or not without a report, as otherwise there would be no point in reporting! Can't punish someone twice for the same offence!

Agreed - they have a hard enough job as it is - that's why I wanted to check before wasting their time. If he's already had a vacation then that is fine with me I don't expect to see that disgusting language on a public forum.
