Yes, but hold on I can just go back and transfer the circles from the previous version.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but using outer glow in its default (or near default) settings seems pretty amateurish to meā¦ Using it even sub-50% usually does the job, and a straight white isn't always the way to go. For instance, for the abbreviations you can use a light blue at a decently low opacity. The tert names don't need to have such a huge spread.
Also, I don't think your army circles need to be so big. They're 22px now? 20px is usually good.
porkenbeans wrote:WOW, nice direction Isaiah. I like the smooth background. Like I said earlier, the texture was just too much. It was cluttering it up. It also looks much nicer that you have lightened it up.
The outer glow on the text needs some work. If you even need it at all now. 44 is right.
What might look good, is if you throw a drop shadow on the stars to give hem a little relief from the flat surface.
Coming along very nicely, I believe that I am starting to really like this map now.

The stars look perfect.
The text glow is much better, and I think the same thing should be done for the barbed wire, in both color and style.
One small thing, the black needs to be turned down on the arrows bevel setting. They are starting to loose their shape.
Gotta say again, that until now, I was just luke warm on this map. But now, I seem to be warming up to it. I would say one thing. The land area could go just a tad lighter if anything. Whatever you do please don't make it any darker.

So I took the bevel out. I wish someone would make up my mind here!the.killing.44 wrote:If you look in your sig, those ones were much better.

YUP, just drop the opacity of the black on the bevel. And maybe the white as well. Then it should fix it.the.killing.44 wrote:isaiah40 wrote:the.killing.44 wrote:Well you didn't have to get rid of the bevel! This must be driving you insane.

But the ones in your sig do have SOME bevel!
