This was a reckless bout of PM abuse and spamming whilst I was serving a forum ban, and even before that. There were about 50 messages in total, some of which I deleted before my forum ban was issued, assuming he would stop eventually.

But the kid insisted on pointlessly sending me the messages later on with full knowledge that I couldn't read them. Each message read like this:

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I don't see any possible way to justify that as "necessary". It seems silly to even suggest it.

Such reckless and dangerous behaviour is not tolerable, and is an afront to the global village we live in. I've taken this one to the UN Council on Human Rights, and will get back to you as soon as the emissary replies to my email...

Over the past number of months, I've probably aroused more hate on this site than you can shake a stick at. Although entertaining to read some of my PMs, I've decided to call an end to the use of my foe list, and apologise to those who were a victim of what some would call my "abuse". It's a very powerful tool on a website such as this, the concept of blocking players entirely from joining your games is a concept that is easily open to exploitation. That given, yes. At times, it's somewhat rewarding. However, rest assured, having such restrictions certainly arouses annoyance and frustration for me, let alone you guys on the recieving end! It's not very often that a 3-man Classic Shapes speed game doesn't get a single join in over 2 hours. For as much regaining the fun for me, I'd like to give everyone on CC the chance to willingly join any of games, as you may know hasn't been the case for a long time, even those who were "legitimately" placed there for a good reason.

So, I offer my extended apologies for my actions concerning use of this feature, and I hope everyone has a nice day.

Not always being privy to all this fun drama between players on this site leaves me (and I assume others) kinda in the dark when bits of these little power struggles spill over into C&A. I still don't think it's appropriate to use C&A as a "Nuclear Option" when your tussling with someone online.

Maybe if it was required to post all the dirty details of these little feuds (there have been a lot posted in C&A this last two weeks) it would be more obvious how trivial these things are and how both sides are obviously guilty of these minor indiscretions. I say quit the tattletale crap, ignore/foe the guy if you want to stop the problem, and focus on the game.
