2. Your mistake was one of many that already existed on the map.
3. The xml is complete, and has been OK'ed by Forza AZ, therefor my part is done. (Other than co-ordinates which will be fixed once I get a decent map)
4. Your versions of the map suck. No one ever asked you to make them.
To dolomite13, I'll see what I can do.
MrBenn wrote:This map has been a disaster from the start. There has been no consistency of management/oversight, to the point where nobody has ownership of it, and there doesn't appear to be a usable working file to enable quick and easy edits.
The issues that are being raised again now (such as the army centering) were raised a long time ago, before a lengthy stint in the recycling bin.

I take issue with this, and consider it an insult to people like Lone Prophet, oaktown, the.killing.44 and even sailorseal that there is no mention of their names on the map. It is one thing to put some work into a map in order to help push it over the finishing line; something else to claim responsibility for the whole journey.
The other thing to consider is that there is a maximum limit of two medals per map. While the map looks good, I think it would be difficult for any of you to claim ownership of the project. At this moment in time, I would argue that the three names you listed are not the three people who have invested the most effort into getting the map thus far.

I simply asked if it was correct. Instead of being an ass about it why don't you try helping by creating a correct list of credits.

the.killing.44 wrote:Water - too uniform. I think you used a pattern overlay—try smudging all around (what I did on Greenland, though you can tone down the strength)
the.killing.44 wrote:Font - too "bleh," also too bright and big. Go back to a serif font, lower the size by 2pt, and make the color more of a gray. The same goes for the legend font.
the.killing.44 wrote:Legend - like I said, change the font. also, add a hyphen or colon between the names and numbers, and make the glow to the outside much less sharp.
the.killing.44 wrote:Also, get the accents right. Lanaudiére should be Lanaudière, etc. Looks good though.
