LEEMEDIC's actions were consistently aiming for miranda2000 to win. I wasn't sure if it was secret diplomacy at first or just a poor quality/spiteful player. There was a close standoff between the three of us, in a position where if one of us attacked the other, the third person would win.

Lee attacks me with everything he's got, breaks me, but then continues into my territory completely vacating his old territory where he had a stronghold on North America.

Eventually he moves on, and I begin to stabilize. He attacks me again.

But then here are the three actions in a row that screamed secret diplomacy -

Miranda2000 had 40 troops on S3, and 1 troop on F1. That means Miranda couldn't attack. Lee goes out of his way to drop into that area and kill the 1 unit, letting Miranda out.

I keep trying to play from there.

A couple turns later, he drops all his units and attacks me even though there's a wide open, valuable area in North America near Miranda. He gained nothing from attacking me, as I was losing quite badly at this point.

I gave up on the game at that point - it was impossible to win with two people working together. I announce I'm quitting, and they start talking openly in chat about how to make sure Miranda wins. Miranda2000 attacks Leemedic while Leemedic keeps attacking me.

It seemed pretty blatant to me. Thank you for looking into this, and for all the good work here at Conquer Club.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot two very large pieces of evidence. In the chat log:

2009-11-08 04:27:13 - miranda2000: im moving out"

LEEMEDIC hadn't said anything in live chat! I think he used private message or perhaps an outside client. Leemedic was holding North America and left the border empty the rest of the game while miranda didn't break his bonus or attack him. Then Lee sends his units at me and not Miranda for the rest of the game.

Looks like emotions just got out of hand, looks pretty innocent to me.

Neither one of these accounts have any prior history of engaging in violations on CC or have prior history playing together.

Secret diplomacy cases are hard to judge because at some point everyone out there can make a judgmental move that can be perceived different ways. With that being said in this case because their is not enough history to warrant any action and given the fact that I do believe that the game in question went by the book in terms of diplomacy these 2 are cleared.

In a 3 player game one player is always going to benefit from the moves of the others. No question about it. In the beginning of this game LEEMEDIC grew strong as you and miranda2000 tried to establish a strong hold on bonuses. Then tables turned and miranda2000 was the front runner and then you. And for the record as for the chat you sited I believe you have to read the chat before and after to get the context, and don't think this was from a conversation outside of this game. And the last note is that game chat can be your enemy. By getting emotional and calling people out for cheating you can turn everyone against you.

Foe and Rate the users in question accordingly, they are Cleared of any violations of secret diplomacy at this time.
