Solider4Christ[closed]

Accused:
Solider4Christ

The accused are suspected of:
Totally cheating

Game number(s):

Game 5830440

Comments: In the game it was down to 4 players, Kraphtone, luapie, Solider4Christ, and myself. Soldier4Christ did not show up for 2 whole rounds and bascailly 3. It was in a position where Krapht or myself could have either won the game because S4C had left the game and had not showed up for 2 rounds, and luapie only had 12 troops with 1 card. Krapht had 44 and 11. I had 54. I kill luapie with 4 seconds on the game clock and S4C comes back in the game, 4 seconds before he was going to be kicked out. Of course since i went through the 44 and luapies 12 to kill him krapht and me are now weak and meanwhile since S4C hadn't shown up he kills us all the next round with his 2 stacks he had left. First of all that is totally cheap to wait 4 seconds before ur going to be kicked out and then come back. I would have never gone throught krapth and killed luapie had S4C still been playing. Of course that was his intentions so he could just get an easy win. I think he should be warned but i leave it to the mods.

I don't see a broken rule. He's allowed to miss turns intentionally or not.

Bad rating. Cheap tactics tag.

well i saw someone get warned for intentionally missing turns in order to gain an advantage on freestyle city mogul...

this is sort of the same thing, missed 2 turns and was 4 seconds from deadbeating before he jumped in on the third turn...

right as godsav1 was making one last suiciding effort to stop me from winning...

then this cheesed**k pops back in and mops up the remaining ones...

people miss turns, it happens... but this guy blatantly missed turns in order to trick godsav into thinking he wasn't coming back... had he kept playing godsav would have never suicided with the 60 on 60 attack...

but you're probably right jef, probably won't have anything happen to him... cept added to many foe lists...

First off, it's Soldier4Christ.

Second,

The Rules wrote:Unwritten Rules

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits.

So that could be intentional deadbeating.

Third is my opinion. If you think someone is deadbeating, you should wait until they are actually kicked before making your move - that way you're sure.

he did not deadbeat, he only missed turns... he did not force you to attack krapht, you should have been more conservative in your choices...

if your thinking of the instance that i am thinking of, that person was warned because he was missing the deploy turn on freestyle city mogul manual deploy game in order to guaruntee that he went first, since on city mogul first person to go usually wins if they know what they are doing..

Bruces- he meant he waited UNTIL there were 4 seconds left; he waited 14 minutes and 56 seconds of 15 minutes.

I think this thread is warranted. Don't just chalk it up as "another idiot making a false report."

I'm sure precedent has been set on the legality of purposefully missing turns to gain advantage. If precedent has NOT been set, now's a great time. I'd like to know for future games.

Thanks.

Awaiting a response, either way,

Becky.

Missing turns is not a good idea ever. Just sometimes idiots think the people missing turns will not come back and basically suicide each other. Thus giving the 3rd person a big leg up. Looking at the chat S4C says why he missed. Move on already... Worthless report.

Dude he didn't just wait. For the last freaken time i waited 4 seconds before he was gonna be booted. AS in the was 4 seconds left in the round and then he came back. I would have never made the move i did had he been playing or come in with more time on the clock. Don't tell me this is a worthless report.

Then his cards go away—try recognizing a game type and its strategy before you come in with a worthluss post.

It's an 8-player freestyle esc. This kind of stuff is GOING to happen, and it's actually a more common strategy than you think. If you don't like it, then foe and move on, just quit whining about it.

Fact: He missed 2 turns
Fact: You made a move you would not have made if he had been there
Fact: He put a reason for missing in chat
Fact: He came back with only a few seconds left, thus after your suicide gifting him the game
Fact: There is no wrong in missing turns. You gain nothing by missing men, turns and cards
Fact: There was no cheating or Abuse going on. Stop whining and lock this thread already

Stop trying to conduct secret diplomacy. All chat must be kept within games and not on people's walls.

Of there is no rule about missing turns. There is of coarse grose abuse of the game. But for that to happen there needs to be an ongoing pattern of many many games.
For now this is closed and noted unless you can provide plenty of evidence.

This does not work well. 10 minutes is not much time at all. Real life happens. 15 minutes gives the person a bit more time.

I don't follow this logic. It's probably because I don't play much freestyle. Can someone explain it to me?

S4C was about to deadbeat, and his cards would go away. I get that. Why would that force the decision for Godsav to basically suicide into Krapht? Wouldn't it make more sense to suicide into S4C, if he was really concerned about the cards going away?

*i'm aware this thread is closed, just clearing up the situation in the game

if S4C continues to play the game out without missing turns he was 100% going to lose the game because godsav and i had him outtrooped and had more cards

if S4C deadbeats then i was automatically going to win if Godsav didn't auto china because i would have 3 cards to his 2, more troops, and a bigger troop drop on next turn and would have obviously autoed him and won the game with no struggle...

S4C screwed Godsav pretty bad, he has a right to be pissed because S4C put him in a spot that he had no choice but to auto china or he'd have automatically lost...

It's apparently not against the rules, but is definitely a cheap ass tactic...

... and sorry bruce but in this situation it was definitely to his advantage to miss turns so that the other players would have to dismiss his stack of 30...

He didnt just miss two turns, he missed two turns 4 minutes and 56 seconds...

Thus... forcing Godsav's decisions to auto me
