Im willing to bet that he sent them invites to join. No way someone set up over 100 games, if not hundreds of games, and only new recruits joined. On the older games, some of the players are no longer new recruits and are now cooks/cadets, but were new recruits when the games were created. This is beyond farming and a point reset should be issued.

many new play love fedule for some reason i expect it is becuase it is so different from the origanly style but not confusing

I always was conused as to why feudal is not excluded from new players.

EXACTLY. Maps that have special game play (Bombard) should be blocked.

I clicked on 2 of these games listed. One was still ongoing with only 1 ?. The other had 3 ?. Both were 4 player games. Seems I heard 5 player was the preferred farming game.

So anyone who CREATES public games on their favorite maps where at least one ? joins are farmers. <YAWN>

I think your an exception to the rule...generalising...but most new players head for classic and geographical maps..They come here to play an un named replica of a popular board game. No one loves feudal as the main element that draws people to feudal is the gameplay

We have had this debate multiple times, feudal players are always accused of farming..... Feudal should be made a difficult map, as is a real pain in the podex when noobs deadbeat, or suicide in first 3-5rounds. No one has managed to answer why feudal is not made a "difficult" map. Mr Mod see whether you can sort it out

Johnny knows its not farming he's just a dick... implying that i'm reserving seats is laughable anyone is free to join except johnny as i have him on my foe list

Actually once someone sat at my game and then reserved a seat for someone else, i walled them and said that i was leaving the game because i didnt want people thinking i was reserving seats at my singles games and that i thought reserving seats at a public singles game was a little fishy...

Ya don't see me joining a bunch of 1vs1 singles games with obvious noobs (ala joba,demon,kingherpes)... In fact i host plenty of singles games on random maps and play all sorts of ranks...

Okay. Cheers for the response. It is a helpful thread to new-elfs like me. Sully also hit my point though KO... bottom up means newt on newt, could there be a way to code it top down? Like I said, don't really know if this makes sense to everyone else, but in my first month here, one of the attractions for me to stay here and make it a gaming home was the wide variety of maps and game choices.

As fasr as I recall from past decisions, starting games falls under the farming ban if (i) the player in question drops games where non-?s join and/or (ii) the player in question sends invites to ?s (or otherwise persuade them to join e.g. through pm's or chat invites).

Also, even if point (i) and/or (ii) above is not fulfilled, there mere fact that a player has a high-rate of ?s joining his games, this may warrant a warning or notice asking the player to review his choice of settings (the mere fact that non-?s avoid certain settings to a high extent may thus be a cause for concern).

johnny what i'm doing is not farming, i'm opening alot of games, quite a few of em get jumped on by new recruits, i can't help that...

farming is where you join games with low ranks to gain advantage and build your score...

I have never dropped a game because a high ranked player has joined... i like higher ranks joining... i hate fucking around with ?s

I don't have to drop any game that a ? joins... In fact i've been told that CC does not like rank discrimination...

I don't have to stop playing a game setting because ?s join... That's just stupid...

I'm doing nothing wrong, Johnny has to play me in a 1vs1 feudal tournament and told Owenator that he didnt want to play me because i'm a farmer, owen told him that everyone who plays casual feudal has the same accusations thrown at them as Owen, lfaw, magiiic and others have...
