Christians have never directly said the Buddha or Muhammad does not exist. they have not stated that you will go to hell if you believe in either. Buddhism, whether its leader be real or not, is more like a set of principles to follow rather than religion (just like Confucianism). in Islam, you believe in God, so i don't know about that.

umm.. because if you weren't a complete idiot you would know that most buddhists dont believe buddha is a god. they believe he is a guy with alot of great principals.

and alot of fried foods to eat. I am a christian, and i don't believe Jesus was a God, I believe he was "a guy with alot of great principals", as you put it. Jesus was the son of god, not god, though some would say he was God in a mans body, but since Jesus prayed on the cross before dying, i doubt he was praying to himself.

How could they. Would the son of a God weigh 700 lbs. How can a religion who prides themselves on self disipline, have a 700 lb man as their main figure. A 700 lb man has no self disipline.

And that makes Buddhism a lot more appealing to ordinary people because you don't have to commit to an exact set of rules that someone lays out to you - you can have their beliefs shaped around what you believe.
