The latter seems to happen a lot as CC's multi-section is rather understaffed, or so it seems. My guess is, they're either questioning the individual to see if that is the real name as someone suggested it was, they're deciding whether or not to just delete his account and tell him no offensively tagged names, or thinking up a name change(which once it is done this will be moved and eventually locked).

Obviously the username raises the question of violation to the bigotry rule of the community guidelines. This is probably in the process of being addressed by either King A or another admin to see the back story behind it. When something like this is left up to perception everyone will have their own opinion. So whether or not this is this users last name and is the reason for the moniker has yet to be determined.

In a case like this you should expect a lot of communication going back and forth from the admin side off CC and the user, so it will take a little longer. Just cause it hasn't been ruled on yet though doesn't give the green light for all the off color remarks for a purpose of just trying to get away with saying the n' word.

I would refrain from it from here on out, or this thread could get locked. Be patient an admin will alert the public of the decision once when is formed.

Funny, even with extremely rare surnames, such as Kjetilsson, Heikinpoika, and Flewelling, you still get plenty of hits on Google (~2000, ~25000, and ~250000 respectively). A search for "dasnigger" turns up one match:

I assume that he meant that the last name was "Nigger". It's not totally impossible I think, but I guess the guy would be used to explain his name if that is indeed the case.

EDIT: Of course it's far-fetched, but I assume that the admin has asked a question re the name. As I recall, most of these issues are usually solved through a voluntarily account-name change or by just letting it be (since user names rarely are particularly insensitive in themselves).
